Free version is great but paid version is better

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of sharing files with others and remotely is unmatched in any other file sharing app I've used, even Google docs.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you have to pay for more storage. With all the other storage payments, It just doesn't seem practical to pay for another cloud storage subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files in real time with my editors and writers is a lot easier than emailing back and forth. Edits and revisions fly back and forth and deadlines are met more easily and with less stress when using Dropbox.

Dropbox is my top recommendation for video creatives

What do you like best about the product?
The highest complement I can think of is that since 2009, Dropbox is the first app I load when I get a new system or laptop. I love it. I've been using Dropbox since the beginning, it's been fantastic for remote collaboration. I work with video creatives, and having a central hub for all our crucial files, like, Adobe CC project files, client email attachments, foundational details—I love that everything is in sync. And if someone on the team doesn't have the best system for rendering or slow internet, no worries, we can render it on a local system—no more waiting on massive files to process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where clients get confused with the download links I share. They think they need to log into Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With clients, its all about the ease of sharing. They don't need to sign in or worry about how to get the files. They can just download if they need but if they have a Dropbox account they have more features. With creatives, its all about keeping the files in one spot so we have confidence that the latest and greatest is at our fingertips. We don't need to worry if someone emailed the latest file or if 5 minutes from now they might ping the team saying they need to resend. I think the other huge plus for creatives is that they can work where they work best and that's not always in the same place or time that I do.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Dropbox for almost 12 years now, and it has truly transformed the way our team collaborates. As a creative agency, sharing raw assets efficiently is crucial for us. Thanks to Dropbox, we consistently deliver projects faster, reducing delivery time by almost 80%. Its accessibility and organization tools make collaboration seamless and stress-free. I know this can be said often, but it's actually been true for us - Dropbox is a game-changer!
What do you dislike about the product?
My only real complaint with Dropbox is that some companies have firewalls that prevent our team from sharing Dropbox files/links with them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a remote team, having a cloud-based storage solution is essential. Dropbox has allowed us to seamlessly and cost-effectively share files no matter where our team members are working - all they need is an Internet connection.

    Effortless File Management and Collaboration

    Reviewed on Dec 18, 2024
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is its seamless syncing across devices, making file access and collaboration effortless and reliable anytime, anywhere. I use it for both personal and professional projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only the limited storage on free plans, which can fill up quickly, and occasional delays when syncing large files. I suggest you subscribe to their plans if you want better experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me stay organized and ensures my files are always accessible, no matter where I am. It’s been invaluable for collaborating with clients and teammates, as I can share files instantly and work on updates together in real time. Knowing my work is safely backed up gives me peace of mind, and the time I save with its smooth integrations lets me focus more on creative and impactful tasks.
