New Season of AWS Power Hour: Cloud Practitioner on Twitch—plus Get AWS Certified Challenge

If you’re studying to become an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or just want to expand your cloud knowledge, AWS has two great new opportunities for you. We’re introducing a new season of AWS Power Hour: Cloud Practitioner on Twitch. And we’re combining this 6-episode series with our latest AWS Get Certified Challenge.
This is your chance to get free training and resources as you prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. Join AWS expert instructors Aaron Hunter and Matt Heffernan to learn the essential skills you’ll use to build your future in the cloud. During these Twitch shows, Aaron and Matt will lead you through live demonstrations and examples of real-world solutions while giving you an opportunity to share your feedback in real time.
Join us on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. PT from August 12 to September 16 for this live Twitch series. Each episode will feature 60 minutes of training followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. If you happen to miss an episode, you’ll be able to access all the episodes on demand.

After finishing the season, you should have a fundamental understanding of AWS infrastructure and a strong working knowledge of AWS services and business solutions.

- Review key concepts you might find on the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam
- Explore design principles for the AWS Well Architected Framework and how to apply them

Episode 3 (August 26): Network and Compute Services
- Discover core AWS services to build your cloud infrastructure

Episode 4 (September 2): Storage and Database Services
- Dive deeper into fundamental storage services for your cloud environment
- Learn about services such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
Episode 5 (September 9): Cost Efficiency and Pricing Models
- Discover how to make more informed cost efficiency and pricing decisions
- Review the benefits of various pricing models and how to monitor your spending
Episode 6 (September 16): Review and Exam Prep
- Review the lessons of previous episodes to help prepare for the certification exam
- Address your next steps in becoming an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Register for the Get AWS Certified: Cloud Practitioner Challenge
In addition to joining this new Twitch series, we encourage you to join the free Get AWS Certified: Cloud Practitioner Challenge, where you’ll set a goal to become an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in 2022.
You can join at any time as long as you register by September 30, 2022. To be recognized for completing the challenge, you must pass the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam by December 14, 2022.
By signing up for this challenge, you’ll be eligible for a 50% discount on the certification exam.
