Our Public Sector Partners in action: Healthcare, data visualization, and remote work
AWS is grateful for our AWS Partner Network (APN) Public Sector Partners that have stepped up to support customers during this rapidly changing and dynamic global health situation. I thought I’d share a few examples of how our innovative and agile APN Partners are collaborating with public sector organizations around the world. Public sector partners award winners demonstrate leadership and success with AWS
Today at re:Invent 2019 in Las Vegas, more than 100 innovative leaders from more than 60 different companies who are part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) came together to collaborate, learn, and recognize contributions to the public sector. This year, we introduced the AWS Public Sector Competency and Region Awards. The winners were selected based on their success within their AWS Competency, demonstration of Amazon Leadership Principles, engagement and success with the APN, and delivery of results in a customer obsessed way.
Helping AWS partners fill their cloud skills gap
Partners in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) are increasingly adopting cloud and rapidly transforming their businesses to help their public sector customers achieve their missions. This transformation can create a challenge for organizations without the proper skills in their workforce. There is no quick and easy way to fill the skills gap, but there are a number of areas to consider – and a number of AWS programs and partners that can help.
Get started on your path to an ATO
Authority to Operate (ATO) on AWS is an AWS Partner Network (APN) program, which provides resources to solution providers running on AWS who need assistance in their pursuit of a compliance authorization. This includes the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), and many other compliance programs.
