Comcast Business offers AWS video conferencing solution to Small and Medium Businesses
Comcast Business is offering businesses Amazon Chime Pro services free until October 31, 2020. With Amazon Chime, Comcast Business provides enterprise-grade online meetings and video conferencing without requiring an Amazon Web Services or Comcast Business account for the trial. Amazon Chime Pro from Comcast Business is a unified communication service to meet, chat, and collaborate inside and outside of an organization, using a single, secure application. This free trial is available to businesses in the United States and allows new and existing Comcast Business customers to start collaborating as soon as they create a team. After the free trial, customers that sign up for, or already have, Comcast Business accounts will have Amazon Chime on their Comcast Business bills for broadband and communication services. Amazon Chime also remains available directly from AWS.
For Comcast, this builds upon a long-standing relationship with AWS, Comcast’s preferred public cloud provider. As a leading communications provider to small and midsize businesses in the United States, Comcast Business is in a unique position to offer Amazon Chime to its customers. At AWS, we recognize that Comcast Business is great way to get Amazon Chime in the hands of more small and medium-sized business customers. Businesses simply sign up on the Comcast Business website, invite colleagues to the team, then collaborate.
Small and medium businesses want to collaborate just like larger enterprises. They may have workers that now have to work remote, even if they never have in the past. This is a critical part of a business continuity plan to continue to serve customers. Employees can stay in touch via chats that can turn into audio and video calls. Schedule high definition video conferences with up to 250 participants that can use web, Windows, Mac, or mobile clients. There are no limits on the number or duration of the meetings and conferences. Users can connect their audio from their computer or dial-in to phone numbers. It is easy to use and free to try from Comcast Business until October 31, 2020. After the free trial, Comcast Business will charge $10 per month to host unlimited meetings.
“In response to our customers’ requests for collaboration, Comcast Business now offers Amazon Chime Pro to new and existing customers.” said John Guillaume, Chief Design Officer at Comcast Business. “Now more than ever, businesses of all sizes need high quality, secure, video conferencing, chat, and screen sharing to easily communicate and collaborate with their colleagues and customers. We are providing a free trial of Amazon Chime Pro through October 31st to businesses in the United States. We made it easy to sign up, it takes minutes and does not require a credit card.”
