Cloud security is the highest priority at AWS, and we work closely with industry-leading partners such as Trend Micro to build security solutions for customers. In this post, we share a malware scanning solution jointly built by Trend Micro and AWS that detects and automates response to malware payload uploaded to Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). The solution uses Trend Micro threat intelligence capabilities and AWS Security Hub.

The AWS Well-Architected Tool that allow Partners to extend Well-Architected functionality, best practices, measurements, and learnings into their existing architecture governance.

Learn how to enrich the AWS Well-Architected Tool’s workload report by adding the results of definitive best practice checks. This post will also associate the workload with specific AWS resources through the use of tags. Once the workload is tagged, you can use Trend Micro’s Cloud One – Conformity, which allows you to create a 360-degree workload review. This provides continuous assurance that your resources are complying with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

We are excited to launch APIs for the AWS Well-Architected Tool that allow AWS Partners to extend Well-Architected functionality, best practices, measurements, and learnings into their existing architecture governance processes, applications, and workflows. By building custom integrations with the AWS Well-Architected Tool, partners can support a broad range of use cases to make it easier for customers to adopt Well-Architected best practices.

These designations span workload, solution, and industry, and help customers identify top AWS Partners that can deliver on core business objectives. As customers adopt AWS Outposts, they need the right solutions to help deploy, monitor, secure, and integrate their Outposts-based workloads. The new AWS Outposts Ready Program makes it easy for customers to find integrated storage, networking, security, and industry-specific solutions that have been validated by AWS and tested on Outposts. This enables customers to easily identify solutions that will integrate with their Outposts deployments.

Bottlerocket is an open source Linux-based OS purpose-built for hosting containers, and APN Partners and AWS customers can quickly get up and running with Bottlerocket. Our goal is to continue to enhance the capabilities of our APN Partners by working together to incorporate it within their offerings and services, so that our mutual customers benefit from the reduced footprint, improved security, performance, and automation capabilities of the OS.

Shift-Left is increasingly being employed within DevOps organizations to ensure companies minimize risk early in their infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment cycle. This post explains how to combine two of the technologies that make Shift-Left possible. The first is AWS CloudFormation, which represents IaC, and the second is Trend Micro’s Template Scanner, which checks your IaC to make sure it conforms to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
