New courses and updates from AWS Training and Certification in January 2022

Editor’s note: Below, you’ll find descriptions of new Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification courses and offerings for cloud learners, AWS customers, and AWS Partners for January 2022. We’re announcing new information about digital badges for AWS Storage. New digital badges: Demonstrate your AWS Storage knowledge today

Looking for a way to build your skills and demonstrate your knowledge of AWS storage services? Two new digital badges—one for object storage and one for block storage—will help you earn the trust and confidence of customers and employers through industry-recognized AWS credentials. Share your digital badge(s) on social media and your resume to distinguish yourself with recruiters hiring individuals with AWS storage skills. Earn these badges by attaining at least an 80% score on the assessments associated with the Storage Learning Plan: Object Storage or Storage Learning Plan: Block Storage on AWS Skill Builder. You need an AWS Skill Builder account to take the courses and assessments and a Credly account to claim earned badges.

Applying Common Design Patterns into AWS Step Functions

Want to learn how to implement common design patterns into Step Functions? Design Patterns for AWS Step Functions explains how to do just that using best practices from the AWS Well-Architected Framework. This course completes the AWS Step Functions course series mentioned in our December update. The courses are intended for anyone who wants to learn more about Step Functions and their benefits. Running containers on Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS)

Updated course teaches developers how to create a cloud-native web app from end to end
