New report: Asia Pacific workforce applying digital skills will need to increase five-fold by 2025
This week, AWS released the report, “Unlocking APAC’s Digital Potential: Changing Digital Skill Needs and Policy Approaches.” Prepared by strategy and economics consulting firm AlphaBeta and commissioned by AWS, the report analyzes the digital skills applied by workers in their jobs today and the digital skills required by workforces over the next five years. The report focuses on six Asia Pacific countries: Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea.
From learning to earning: AWS Educate announces collaboration with Chegg
Chegg, an educational software company, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Educate launched a new initiative to help accelerate a student’s time from learning to earning. Through this collaboration, Chegg students can take skill assessments that identify potential skill gaps and connect them to appropriate AWS Educate cloud curricula – helping better prepare them for high-demand jobs in cloud computing. This partnership brings AWS Educate resources to Chegg’s 14 million (and growing) student membership.
AWS Educate secondary school content now available in six languages
The Cloud Inventor and Cloud Explorer courses of AWS Educate, built for students aged 14-18*, are now available in five additional languages: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. With the addition of these languages, more students than ever have access to content that will introduce them to cloud-based concepts and technologies.
AWS Educate Now Available in 10 Languages
AWS Educate’s 11 foundational Cloud learning Career Pathways are now available in ten new languages – Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Bahasa. Now, more students around the world have access to the skills that will provide them access to cloud-based careers and opportunities.
