CEU Universities launched the first cloud computing program in Spain, in collaboration with AWS, to create pathways for students into cloud technology careers. CEU is working with key organizations as part of an initiative called CEU Tech 4 Good to develop student talent through mentoring sessions and internships. This hands-on experience will help prepare students to pursue cloud-related job opportunities when an AWS Region opens in Spain in late 2022 or early 2023.

AWS Partner ITZ Data, with support from UNICEF and the Canadian Embassy in Guatemala, helped Ministerio de Educación de Guatemala launch Mineduc Digital—the country’s first online platform where students can access digital self-study guides from any device connected to the internet. The Ministry implemented the solution in less than two months, paving the way for the digital transformation of their education system. The solution was built on AWS.

DigitalGlobe went all-in on AWS to meet the growing demand for commercial geo-intelligence, migrating its entire 18-year imagery archive to the cloud. The company used AWS Snowmobile to move 100 petabytes of data to the cloud, allowing it to move away from large file-transfer protocols and delivery workflows.
