Optimize Amazon WorkSpaces Personal Performance with Amazon CloudWatch

Are you looking to gain additional insight how end users are connecting to Amazon WorkSpaces Personal instances? Would you like to track and report on IP addresses, platforms, and client versions being used to access WorkSpaces Personal? Are you interested better understanding operating system resource utilization within the WorkSpace Personal? Even if you attended our Workshop last year, there have been updates you’ll appreciate learning about.

Attend our re:Invent workshop EUC201, Optimize virtual desktop performance with enhanced observability, where Aamir and I will show you how to use Amazon CloudWatch to build dashboards that surface important WorkSpaces Personal user access information. During this interactive workshop, you’ll have access to the latest automatic dashboards, new dimensions for triaging performance concerns, new dashboard templates that provide common helpdesk, network insights, and updates to optimize cost using these new metrics.

For the duration of the session, you’ll have access to an AWS account, already established with a complete WorkSpaces Personal deployment. These environment will be filled with typical issues like disk space concern, high CPU and memory utilization, allowing attendees to experience dashboards with live data. You’ll also get to build your own custom dashboards with guidance from our team of experienced AWS End User Computing (EUC) solution architects.
At the end of this workshop, we’ll open it up for audience questions and discussion. During this time, you have the opportunity to ask AWS Product Managers and Solutions Architects questions about content shared during the workshop.
