New Premier Consulting Tier for the Amazon Partner Network

We launched the Amazon Partner Network (APN) just about a month ago and we’ve been really pleased with the response. The list of Technology Partners and Consulting Partners have been growing nicely.
We are planning to recognize our most productive consulting partners at the AWS re:Invent conference this coming November by designating them as Premier Consulting Partners. A number of benefits come along with this designation including a Premier tier logo, placement in a new special section of the AWS web site, deeper technical and field engagement, preferred access to Beta programs, preferred access to the AWS Partner Advisory Council, Preferred eligibility for AWS financial support for Go-To-Market (GTM) activities, and other benefits.
Only Advanced tier Consulting Partners will be eligible to apply for this new designation. We will use a number of criteria to choose Premier Consulting Partners including direct and indirect AWS revenue, breadth and quality of AWS customer references, and customer satisfaction. Partners can also submit a list of “other factors” that they would like us to use as part of the decision-making process. We’ll collect this information using a new Partner Scorecard that will be made available to all eligible Consulting Partners in the near future.
