The Digital Platform for Next Generation Agriculture is built by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to address challenges faced by farmers and associated enterprises including agri-input companies. It enables the use of predictive analytics for crop acreage, crop yield, crop health, soil moisture status, weather and pest forecasts, and resource quality assessment to help farmers minimize risk. The platform comprises of big-geospatial, IoT, and climate data analysis framework built on AWS.

For a recent project, NTT DATA Services was asked to architect and design the migration of a customer’s backend search tool used by two of its applications. Using a next-generation data lake developed by Infosys Cobalt and built on AWS, Toyota North America can collect and analyze data from different manufacturing plants. Toyota North America also gathers supply chain data, such as where the car was manufactured and where it is shipping.
