What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, customer orientation, system support, functionalities out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
No office in South America, no local support in Brazil.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting the inventories of our customers to offer a market place for the Workshops, improving the product availability.

What do you like best about the product?
Spryker seems to have a flexible architecture concept compared to further vendors in the market. Agile team spirit visible in the quite new Spryker teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Architecture: PHP and Codecpetion test framework as preferred programming language blocks recruitment of resources from the market. Some code refinements still needed to ensure hollistic, multi-variant country implementations.
Operations and QA: PaaS solution still needs improvements in monitoring (esp. performance monitoring). Offered operation services are quite at the beginning. Experts for Spryker operations in IT market are limited which avoids handovers to further implementation partners.

What do you like best about the product?
Excellent PaaS Plattform! Outstanding support. Great functions alread out of the box. Fast time to market.

There is not much to complain. Maybe that the company is in the starting phase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increase of sales revenue and lifting our plattform to a modern next level architecture. PaaS gives us the foundation to scale quickly.
Hard learning curve that paid off 100%

The software architecture based on a modular monolithic is really well designed. There is a healthy community in Slack keen to help you anytime.

As an OSS, sometimes it is not that easy to contribute with your own changes/fixes/improvements.

It's the core of our e-commerce webshop.
Review as a customer's lead Spryker developer
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize a decent amount of the codebases's functionality without overwriting it will probably be my favorite aspect of Spryker once it comes time to upgrade major versions. For the day-to-day side of things, the built-in code style, functionality, and structure tests are helpful in maintaining the current standards when adding new code. The built-in code generators are also a significant help, speeding up the overall pace of development. Spryker's technical support reps are also competent and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a developer who previously worked with systems such as Magento 1 & 2, the learning process and resources for new Spryker developers are substandard in comparison. What technical documentation Spryker has on its website can be old and inconsistent. The community help forum (which would typically make up for documentation shortfalls) hides messages after 90 days as it is using a free version of slack. Having all that past knowledge become inaccessible is something I would expect a competent software company to rectify.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The customizability and flexibility of the Spryker system (as well as the wealth of additional add-ons) meant that it was easy to pair Spryker with our current systems.

Spryker provides all necessary functionalities and gives us the freedom to expand as needed. Spryker is a service and solution-oriented company with a very good direct communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Spryker backoffice solution could be a bit better. I would like to have a some more functionality in the standard package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Spryker we allow our customers to buy our products online and use the self-service area, without making calls or writing emails. A lot of time is saved for the customers.

What do you like best about the product?
State-of-the-art, easy to use and not difficult to maintain. Documentation is available.

There is not something I don't like. It seems pretty good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem Spryker Cloud Commerce is solving is the connection of our end users with the backend ERP system. The benefits are twofold; one advantage is a better client experience because the ERP system is slightly user-unfriendly. The other is that the Spryker platform will handle the business logic instead of the backend system, thus relieving some of the performance pressure of the Netsuite system.
