Kandji - Best MDM Option for MacOS Environments
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the compatibility with my company's MacOS environment. Other services either lack this compatibility entirely or are very difficult to deploy. Kandji has a very responsive support team and is always helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint with Kandji is I wish their integrated apps was a little more diverse, but you are able to deploy custom apps and scripts with ease!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji provides a centralized platform to monitor, manage, and secure our entire company fleet of Apple devices. It enables us to enforce compliance, automate configurations, and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes. This level of control and visibility has significantly improved our IT efficiency and reduced the time spent on manual device management.
Kandji is the ideal MDM solution for Apple devices
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji makes managing our Apple devices super easy. I love how much is automated — especially the compliance stuff. It saves a ton of time, and the setup for new devices is smooth thanks to zero-touch deployment. The interface is clean and simple, which makes everything faster to get done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji works great for our Apple devices, but it’s a bummer that it doesn’t support Windows. We have to use another tool just for those, which makes things more complicated than they need to be. It would be ideal if you can support windows devices soon so that all our company devices could be managed by one MDM solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji has been a big help at Eucalyptus by streamlining Apple device management, especially for our remote team. The zero-touch setup and automated compliance save time and keep us secure as we grow. It’s simple, reliable, and fits perfectly with our scaling needs.
Customer Support so good you’ll wish your other vendors were more like Kandji
What do you like best about the product?
Customer service and support is one of the best in the SaaS market. Always helpful and ready to offer support and advice if you’re having any issues.
Sales support is also amazing and the team can really help you get to understand what you need out of a mobile device management system.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had a situation where I could list a dislike. Kandji really delivers on its promise to support their product and their customers. There are other vendors out there that you can make a long list of cons. Kandji is not that company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed Mac’s and iPads in our corporate environment. It helps us be compliant with our client’s security requirements. It provides a manageable system to keep our mobile devices encrypted and our client’s data secure.
Great MDM solution with a true set-it-and-forget-it experience
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Kandji as an MDM solution, and our experience has been excellent. The setup was straightforward, and once configured, it requires virtually no ongoing maintenance. Kandji’s automation, compliance features, and intuitive interface make managing our Apple devices effortless. Highly recommended for teams looking to streamline device management!
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji is limited to Apple devices only. Organizations with mixed OS environments (Windows, Linux) might need an additional MDM solution.

Kandji simplifies the management of our Apple devices by automating device enrollment, configuration, and compliance. This solves the problem of manual device maintenance, reducing IT workload significantly.
A comprehensive MDM solution with incredible features
What do you like best about the product?
We recently made the decision to switch from another jamf provider to Kandji. We have been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I must say that I truly appreciate how comprehensive and user-friendly their portal is. We have been testing the platform for weeks and haven't even scratched the surface of the monumental amount of unique features it has ; from automations, app delegation, self-service, security policies, hardware rules, and more, there isn't a single thing I couldn't find in their portal. The blueprint system in particular is a game changer and offers you a lot more options than the majority of competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
If anything, I would say the absence of an integrated help desk, which in all honesty isn't a deal breaker, I'm not concerned because Kandji does a fantastic job of providing a hands-free platform that allows us to assign tasks and resolve problems with just a few clicks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From an extremely simple enrolling method to assigning access, staying up to date on OS and apps, applying security profiles, and more, Kandji offers a very smooth device management experience. Additionally, there are numerous integrations that have a significant impact, such SSO with Google Workspace. On top of that, the facts that each app (library item as they call in the platforms can be customized based on different tags, teams or user groups is a game changer!
It is a practical, accessible, and easy-to-manage MDM.
What do you like best about the product?
Is easy to Manage, Use, and implement, have a intuitive user-friendly interface to manage the applications, policies for organisation devices.
The Integration with ABM provide an easy enrolment and in a single click we can wipe or lock a device.
The Integration with ABM provide an easy enrolment and in a single click we can wipe or lock a device.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could benefit from improvements in the reporting section—for example, the ability to export custom information on activities performed on devices, such as when someone wipes or locks a device. Additionally, having custom notifications or alerts sent via email would be a valuable enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to centrally manage the applications we want users to install through a self-service experience.
The main benefit is that policies, apps, and profiles can be deployed on our assigned computers quickly, easily, and silently.

Kandji provides a powerful MDM without legacy bloat
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji was straightforward to configure and deploy. Their sales and technical support team were always available during the process and now that we are in production I haven't really needed any further support because the tool is so easy to administer. In comparison to the MDM solution we replaced, Kandji is a considerable improvement in terms of ease to configure and understand how the pieces fit together. It's entirely possible that Kandji has less features than our old tool, but because we didn't really understand how to use those features, it was actually an overall feature gain to make the switch. Plus we got access to their library of updated applications which means we no longer have to manually keep our most common apps up-to-date. To top it all off, Kandji is considerably less expensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the pre-built security configurations do not conform to the way Apple has updated their operating systems, which means devices can fall out of compliance despite being exactly how Apple designed them to operate. Thankfully Kandji provides a mechanism to mute individual alerts so they stop impacting our compliance reports while the underlying situation is sorted out between Kandji and Apple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji allows us to manage all of our Apple products in a comprehensive manner to ensure our devices are up-to-date and fully compliant. It also provides tools to our users to self-install software without having to provide local administrative access.
Simplicity is key, and Kandji delivers
What do you like best about the product?
That you don't need to be an expert. Anyone with basic knowledge can get Kandji up and running in a sufficient way to align with ISO27001.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some automations Kandji could gain from having. Like automatic user correlation between Google Workspace users and local users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device enrollment, configuration alignment and ISO/SOC2 compliance
