Simple MDM that just works
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has a straightforward and intuitive user interface. However, their best feature is their excellent Customer Service. Rapid responses over chat and very patient agents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only gripe I would have is with the reporting options. No real out-of-the-box reporting; you'll have to contact the excellent support team for help setting that up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The MMDM is not overly complicated, so it works perfectly for our small business needs. IE, inventory, app deployment and managing regular updates.

Great service with great Account managers
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of setup and maintenance. We leverage it on all our computers to ensure high security.
What do you dislike about the product?
It forces the updates, so it is really annoying when you keep delaying the update then your computer just starts updating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing computers.

Kandji - Amazing Technical Support and Value
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has a fantastic team of Technical Support Engineers. I can get help within seconds and be able to talk with a natural person. They also have very detailed documentation which helps with learning a lot about how Kandji works.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that I think Kandji can improve on that would be very helpful to MDM and automation. One of the improvements is the ability to create smart groups, and the other is to develop sensors/attributes to use for smart groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji allows us to take advantage of DEP for Zero Touch Deployment. It enables us to deploy managed apps, custom apps, custom scripts, custom profiles, and already built-in profiles. It allows us to create blueprints that meet security guidelines and deploy them to multiple devices remotely.
A very good tool to manage your Apple fleet
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is the closest to a self managing tool I have seen for Apple devices. They're easy to work with and want to see you succeed with a deployment. The deployment to existing assets without re-imaging and all that was the real game-changer in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there was nothing that really stuck out. Getting Apple Manager to talk to it was a little bit of a bear but that's going to be the case with any tool you choose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji allowed me to push software and updates out to my users with little to no trouble. It also allowed me to lock-down a system in case an asset was misplaced or stolen.
Kandji is a great solution that helps us to easily manage mobile devices for our field employees.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of editing the library of apps and controlling access for the users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some apps that we utilize that are only created for iPhones that we were able to use on iPads with our previous MDM solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of setting up and maintaining our mobile management saves our IT department time and money.
Kandji makes it easy to manage devices and is constantly improving their product.
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly and easy-to-deploy devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting could be more robust and detailed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we started using Kandji, we would get devices returned to us that were locked. Kandji makes it easy to unlock that device without having to go through Apple support.
Kandji is superior
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji MDM is showcasing innovation at its finest. Kandji connectors technology was by far the clearest and simplest to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being totally honest, i've not had any dislikes so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No business problems, deploying Kandji for our mac estate was seamless.
Great Apple Device Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is very hands-off. When you have set it up, it takes little time to maintain. I like how they add new features, how they handle auto apps and having an A+ support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs better scoping options, furthermore not so much!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is making it easy to maintain an Apple Fleet in a modern way.
Best MDM on the market for Apple
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very clean and easy to navigate. The ability for us to load blueprints directly onto machines when purchased from Apple Business or an authorized reseller is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides to Kandji. Their support team is top notch, the Mac admins slack channel has a dedicated Kandji channel and some of their support staff on there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application management, device locations, ability to monitor OS updates, postpone updates as needed. it gives the abiity to lock down the system based on our systems needs.
