Very simple to use and least admin overhead with expert support
What do you like best about the product?
simple to use with almost no admin overhead
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have had more pre-made libraries and autoapps. More granular settings of mac OS system preferences would have been very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile Device Management. Deploying applications, Automated Device Enrollment, enforcing updates, and applying security hardening settings.
Powerful MDM Solution for Apple Macbooks
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji is simple to use, has a good interface and was the better choice for our company when considering the complexities of the competing tool JAMF. Kandji has default blueprints out of the box for quick and easy configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji needs better reporting integrations and tools and the ability to integrate with SIEM tools to be able to more effectively monitor alerts that may be affecting our users and devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is easier to use for a small IT team and easily integrates with automated device enrollment for a seamless experience. Remote operations such as filevault admininstration allows our team to easily support remote workers when passwords are lost or forgotten. Being able to remotely lock a device in case of theft or other concerns is beneficial.
Device management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
We had been looking for a platform that allowed us to deploy an MDM solution to manage our devices without needing weeks of setup and professional services to do expensive integrations. Within a few hours we were all set up and now have complete control and visibility of our estate. Kandji has performed so well for us, it's actually encouraged us to move more of our corporate devices to Mac.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had a really positive experience but I'd like to see more conflict resolution in the blueprints. Its easy to accidentally make 2 policies that conflict and send it in to tailspin. Kandji support are very good to support but i'd like to not be in that position to start with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Global management of our Apple mac estate with a small IT support team. We are a pretty small tech team supporting in excess of 400 users on a daily basis. Kandji makes like easy.
Does everything we need, and looks good doing it
What do you like best about the product?
An MDM is never an easy sell to users, but Kandji makes that possible with the slick UI and Self Service app.
From an admin point of view, the management interface is also a breeze.
The number of Auto Apps increases every week and means there's very little need to manually package apps, we use these heavily.
The ability for Kandji to take over existing user accounts regardless of the name format was a key reason we selected it over other MDMs. The management agent is also fairly light and the Slack integration is nice.
The documentation is also good and the support easy to reach and knowledgeable. Unsure what other reviewers mean by poor support, they really make the effort here.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Managed OS feature is still not reliable enough. Would recommend heavy testing.
Blueprints don't seem to be copy-on-write even after duplicating, so if a setting needs to be changed in a base blueprint, it must be manually changed in all of them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Introducing an MDM at a startup that has not had an MDM before.
Increasing security in preparation for auditing and certification.

A really great journey
What do you like best about the product?
Ever since the start of the this journey everyone was really involved in creating a great experience for me and whoever I got in contact with has tried their best to help me achieve my goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some features that I would like to see but whatever it was I could easily submit a feature request and hopefully they'll be done in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important thing that really helps me is the management of the devices which are split into different countries and having Kandji to centralize everything helps a lot.
Easy to configure
What do you like best about the product?
Took me a bit of time to get used to the UI and learn how to configure from the ground up but once I have everything in place, Kandji requires very little interaction as everything is working the way it should.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about the product but I hope they can extend their support to Windows and Android in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prevent activation lock on apple devices
An affordable solution for organizations not big enough or ready to go JAMF
What do you like best about the product?
No nonsense MDM with plenty of integrations into other products we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and API could be more comprehensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fleet oversight and control, software inventory, etc.
A slick, easy to use and stylish solution to MDM
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use for a new user to MDM. All of the features are very well documented with helpful pictures and explanations making them easy to implement and apply for every use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support team are good at replying to queries but sometimes their solutions can be too basic for the issue and so suggest solutions that have already been attempted making the time to resolution longer than it has to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji makes Mobile Device Managment for Apple devices easy and intuitive to implement. It helps to bring all devices within the organisation together and provides an easy to use interface to manage these devices.
User friendly and effective
What do you like best about the product?
How simple and easy it is to use, as well as its superb effectiveness
What do you dislike about the product?
Not mobile responsive and the inability to use role-based/custom access for admins
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatically updating custom apps that other Apple MDMs were unable to perform successfully
