Came for the Clean Slate stayed for the Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
We have recently taken on the responsibility of migrating off of JAMF and onto Kandji. The ease of implementation and support I received up front in order to make this happen was amazing, but the customer support when I have had some lingering migration issues was on another level. So much so that the support member not only solved one issue but it cascaded into fixing other issues on other platforms.
Using Kandji has also been great as the number of features, the ease of adding applications, keeping applications up to date, the malware removal service, and so on.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool to manage all of our MAC OS devices. In order to apply controls to the end user device, we purchaed Kandji.
Easy to get started, maintaning and keep control of the mac fleet!
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji's interface is designed with user-friendliness in mind, ensuring that administrators can effortlessly navigate and oversee device settings. Which is a key factor for me who's not an Apple-guy from the start. The platform offers multiple features while maintaining its user-friendly appeal. Administrators have ample control over tasks like custom scripts and package deployments without sacrificing ease of use.
Also the support from Kandji is great!

What do you dislike about the product?
-The UI could be better on mobile access.
- Occasionally - devices will become disconnected from the MDM - requiring end user interaction to re-sync/re-enroll.
- Can't buy individual licenses. If you have 100 devices, you can have 100 licenses. If you have 70, you require 100 licences.
- Kandji Passport could use a revamp at least in end-user interaction

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of managing all Apple devices. From build out to deployment was simple and continuous management and updates of devices and applications have been flawless. Support has been wonderful and prompt.

I would like to see remote management options be explored or at least an intergration with other products possibly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved issues with management and most importantly patching of Apple devices and 3rd party applications. Our Apple environment is our most secured and patched product we have deployed.

As a one-man IT department, Kandji has made implementation and managing devices easier than I'd imagined. What has been overwhelming and required dedicated teams in the past with other MDM solutions has been simple and feature-rich with Kandji.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the ease of use compared to something like JAMF is fantastic, I do miss some things like extension attributes and their ability to provide more details about what's happening on the user's device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our org compliant and secure is often as simple as drag and drop.
