Easy to use and makes device management a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Our ability to manage and monitor our Apple devices is smooth and the the SSO process is so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything works really well but if I had to pick something it would be the custom application upload size. It needs to be larger to accommodate more applications. Without using an external source.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We originally started using it to have SSO on our Apple devices but all the other features have come in handy more then we realized.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of patch management on non-auto apps.
SSO integration is present but lacking.
Limited control on Scheduling OS and Application updates - as an admin we would like to see more granular control / segmentation.
Lack of native Configuration Profile management - you have to create, sign, and manage them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji is solving an MDM issue we faced while also reducing our total cost.
Kandji has been easy to use to maintain all our Apple devices
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the flexability to apply to their libaray items to different blueprints/assignment maps based off a users attribute.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, there is no remote management for devices. But this is a small problem that we can solve for with an external tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch and application management via their auto-applications. These are applications supported as out of the box, which provides our teams with updates without having to download and upload packages from the internet.
Streamlined Apple Device Management with Powerful Assignment Maps and Security settings
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji stands out for its intuitive interface and seamless management of Apple devices. I appreciate how it simplifies compliance enforcement, automates patch management, and provides robust API hooks—all while saving time and reducing manual effort. Its zero-touch deployment and extensive library of pre-built apps make managing Apple fleets both efficient and reliable. Their customer service is pretty on point and willing to help until your concerns are addressed. Migrating from Jamf was one of the easist thing done using their instructions and "secret sauce" script.
What do you dislike about the product?
Kandji is bit limited when it comes down to integrating with other platform such as Okta (there are no webhooks) and Slack (you can only send slack messages and not JSON payloads).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kandji solves several key problems in Apple device management, such as manual configuration and time-consuming patch management. By automating device setup, software updates, and compliance enforcement, Kandji significantly reduces IT workload and ensures all devices meet security standards effortlessly. Its zero-touch deployment feature allows devices to be shipped directly to users while being fully configured, saving time and improving the end-user experience. For me, this results in increased efficiency, fewer human errors, and a smoother process for managing a fleet of Apple devices.
On point MDM solution
What do you like best about the product?
Number one thing is having an application library ready to go thats been vetted by Kandji, being able to block unwanted apps on the fly, you have almost everything out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not really a thing more of a missing feature, sometimes kandji would allow you to set up conflicting policies without telling you they conflict and could cause issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Orchestrating all of our Mac based laptops company wide, being able to deploy custom apps as well as pre-made out of the box ready made apps to deploy as well as having an "app store" of sorts comprised of approved apps ready to go.
Kandji is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use UI and seamless experience for employees. Plus their support team is the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
Community support isn't as well built out but it is to be expected for a newer product. Smart groups is something that I wish they had but they have similar features that work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our devices secure while improving the employee experience!
Amazing for non-Apple users

Kandji is the most user friendly MDM I've ever had the pleasure of using
What do you dislike about the product?
needs more integrations with other software platforms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Uniformality and security between all of our company owned devices
Sr Manager of Implementation Program
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use. When I first started using it, I had no training on it and was able to figure it out with little to no training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont really have any. It seems to work very quick.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us maintain our Mac's secured and easy to push apps and other scripts as needed.
Easy to Deploy Devices
What do you like best about the product?
Deploying devices is a breeze and if you have any issues a live agent is available within a couple of mins,
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see some kind of report or notification when devices go offline to remediate issue right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To deploy devices that are ready for our employees and manage remotely if any issues arise.
Kandji - simple, straightforward yet adaptable.
What do you like best about the product?
Kandji has been very easy to adapt and configure to meet our institutional needs. We went from a zero MDM enviornment to this with very useful implementation meetings from the Kandji team. We have been set for 2+ years now, and it has proven to be a low touch product in that we almost set it and forget it for periods of time. Customer support via chat has been wonderful as well. Most every question or issue we have had was able to be resolved within minutes as opposted to having to go down the ticketing path.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found a great configuration setup as of now to manage our Mac computer labs with multi user devices. Kandji does not have anything right out of the box to help us configure that. Still a work in progress on our end, and not sure if any competators offer this or not to be honest. I am also not looking forward to moving all of my traditional "blueprints" to the new model they have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have lowered end users tickets and overall support time for our mac fleet by being able to keep everyone in a tighter window with regard to updates and patches. Overall security of our fleet has been enhanced and we have cut down on time to provision devices.
