Teamcenter is best PLM software
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is best part of Teamcenter. Also workflow is a wonderful part

One of the best PLM solution i have seen

I have worked on many PLM solutions in the market. But the SIEMENS PLM is unique and one of the best ones. Very good UI and very simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it's taking a long time to download large files.

It saves our time in manual work like approval, searching the old data time, revision control management, task management, team management, etc. It saves our valuable time.

What do you like best about the product?
Control and accessibility of data. Ability to manage configuration and BOMs thru the engineering to manufacturing processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rich client was very difficult to navigate (when I was a consumer), and I cannot speak to AWS. The portfolio is very broad and often seems disconnected/fragmented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many customers have very little control of their data. Files are stored in Windows Explorer folders, BOMs are managed outside of NX/Teamcenter, oftentimes in MS Excel. Zero associativity to downstream functions in planning and manufacturing. Teamcenter puts controls and processes in place to allow for speed of processing data, reduction in errors, higher degrees of awareness/communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For organizations that do not currently use Teamcenter, focus on the basics of controlling engineering data with high degrees of out-of-the-box functionality. Do not try to customize. Once engineering data has been controlled, then expansion of capabilities can be explored.
