Great system for learning

What do you like best about the product?
Very thorough classes at a reasonable price. The scope is somewhat overwhelming but in a good way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Streaming it takes a lot of bandwidth and the transition between low and high res can make or break the experience. When following along w/ code, the lower resolution just doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up to date on new technologies and areas in software development. In particular, learning Unity design and programming on my own and learning python.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great way to learn if you can focus and are on a fairly high bandwidth connection. Nice to be able to review comments and ratings of others regarding each course.

They have a lot of different content of many subjects. It's fast to search what you need and easy to start!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times the quality of the audio or of who is speaking is not so good in the entire course than at the sample.

Udemy help me with new softwares, they really help me to be prepared for new challenges.
You can learn searching from the internet, and you probably will find some videos on YouTube about everything you need. But a really recommend everyone to give a try at a professional tool that really help, and it's easy to follow the results of yourself and other employees.

Well-organized, Easy-to-use Learning Tool

  • September 19, 2018

What do you like best about the product?
I'm somewhat new to Udemy. I went looking for courses on C# for absolute beginners. Pluralsight and Udemy were the two sites that came up first. Pricing with Udemy was a little better than Pluralsight so I took a chance. I wasn't disappointed. The content is very well organized, easy to follow, and the quizzes inserted in the presentation videos have been on point and flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the instructor moves a little too quickly through more complex topics. I feel like Udemy could do more to make sure content is properly documented (beyond the transcript which is available) to make sure people are learning what they want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For years, I developed software around the Microsoft Office suite using Visual Basic. I'm trying to grow up in the web world and move to a development stack that supports that better. Pretty much everything I do future-forward depends on what I'm learning right now. As to benefits realized, I have enjoyed learning in an environment where the instructor explains step-by-step what he's doing and that we're building practical examples as we go.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many learning platforms out there covering a massive range of topics. Udemy has a good selection of things to learn at great prices.

Very useful training website for studying

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to search the course and focus on what users want to study. Moreover, it is also easy to user and payment when need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface looks so classical and need to be more modern that used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was not very good at the business demonstration by the graphic diagram so I applied a course in Udemy and studied until I understood and solve all my problems myself.

A great platform for ongoing education

  • September 19, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The selection of courses available is extensive - I needed my remote workers to learn more about SEO on their own - and the learning platform is easy to use. The on-demand nature of the content allows for colleagues in different time zones, different countries and of differing abilities to follow a set 'curriculum' but at their own pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little so far. I have found the ROI to be exceptional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As my business has grown the need to hire on additional remote staff has become an important issue. I found that I could find writers with the skills I needed but they lacked the SEO expertise. As the point of hiring staff in the first place was to free up time training them myself would have been somewhat counterproductive. Having employees take the Udemy courses and then meeting to discuss and go over what they learned was (is) was far more efficient process. We are done using it for now, but I will utilize it again in the future as my company continues to grow.

Sharpen your skills with Udemy

  • September 18, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a big fan of the mobile app, allowing me to watch Udemy courses on the bike at the gym or in public transit. Not to mention the increased speed saves a ton of time for power through courses that are multiple hours. Apart from the functionality aspect, I thoroughly enjoy that most content curators will interact with the students; providing answers to feedback and clarification on course materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently we are using the Team Plan which does not allow for course insights or overall user activity to determine the most relevant chapters and content; along with other's experience of the course.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Udemy for Business allows for me to discuss the same content with another co-worker and implement ideas from those topics into our workflow and into production.
