ThousandEyes is great tool for monitoring end user requirements
What do you like best about the product?
Creating tests for monitoring the things which we want is useful feature indeed!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike in functionality but UI can be better I feel!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ThousandEyes is helping in different monitoring for our project!

ThousandEyes is extremely useful for network visibility.
What do you like best about the product?
The most useful thing we use ThousandEyes for is determining where the weak link is when a system is experiencing slowness whether that be online or within our own system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only down side I found was it was somewhat difficult to set up meaningful alerts, it required us to set up equipment one at a time rather than being able to apply a rule that covered all objects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to determine whether an issue is a result our of our equipment, or somewhere else in the country potentially for some of our cloud based solutions that we use.
Application experience monitoring at its best!
What do you like best about the product?
How digestible information is. It is very easy to pinpoint the root cause of an issue with application connectivity and/or performance. The ThousandEyes platform provides you with Alerts, Dashboards, graphs and logs about all of these things!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the team can do a better job with artificial intelligence and machine learning. The platform should be able to create baselines and set thresholds automatically for some tests. The goal is to be more proactive and avoid false positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ThousandEyes allows us to take ownership and have visibility over environments that are not really managed by us, such as the internet and our cloud service provides. That allows for a more thorough and precise troubleshooting and faster reporting and resolution times for issues.
Best way to monitor health of all your API Endpoint
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup, view all the status and health
What do you dislike about the product?
Tutorial /help documentation is not good for junior engineers.

Tracking the health of my API endpoint and solving availability issues
Excellent solution that solved our problem
What do you like best about the product?
ThousandEyes is very easy to use and configure. You can go from nothing to monitoring production networks and apps in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a negative but ThousandEyes gives us so much information it takes some time initially to weed out what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have customers call our CIO when apps went down. Now, we are alerted long before customers have any idea there's a problem. Customer satisfaction has gone up and we've also been able to proactively detect issues before they cause an outage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use their professional services. They did in 3 months what took us a year to get done.

Simply outperforms in every aspect

ThousandEyes provided my company with a solution that could report on external health as well as first mile and last mile performance.

Cost but it's worth it, the startup can be a bit difficult.

What do you like best about the product?
ThousandEyes has been the best carrier move I have made. The technology is exciting, and fills a huge gap in the market. The day-to-day work is enjoyable and fulfilling. The entire team is amazing, and my immediate team is a collection of intelligent and fun individuals that make going to work everyday a pleasant and fun experience. I really cannot say enough about how positive my experience has been.

There really are not any cons I can think of. ThousandEyes as a whole has met my needs as an employee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a business perspective, the management team has a clear vision as to where they want to go and they are making progress in that direction.

Wide range of monitoring areas covered. Modern technology trends followed. End user experience monitoring.

Not so easy for newcomers to get around.

Interoperability with our ticketing system. Monitoring all the different CIs that we need.

I like that I am able to pinpoint network problems faster and it increases my connectivity with the end user. Further the easy of using of this product is also something which makes you implement it faster

It would been great if it can also provide customized action items after pointing issues

I am using it for SAAS and VoIP monitoring

This tool is very helpful if you want to proactively address the issues before it starts creating problems for the end customers. The user interface of this tool is very good and you can rapidly onboard a lot of your employees in using this tool
