Easy to learn, difficult to master
What do you like best about the product?
Sugar is loaded with features and things you can do to accomplish virtually any sales pipeline needs. Their support team is relatively quick to respond to questions too!
What do you dislike about the product?
The abundance of features can create a daunting scenario during implementation. They do offer setup services but they are a bit pricey. The documenation is vast, and there is a community forum, but I've found it difficult to always find exactly what I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To give our sales leadership team the ability to track the entire sales team performance, activity, and also do future prospecting. Without Sugar, we'd have no way of tracking calls, meetings, emails, etc. It also allows us to integrate Calendly to record scheduled meetings automatically.

Sugar keeps things organized and good for reminders
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me keep things organized and remind me of things that i need to do. Always nice when i forget things because i am so busy and it gives me the push to get things done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sugar can be buggy a lot. You have to find little tricks to navigate the system or you will not find what you need. It can be very irritating when you are looking something up and it won't show so you have to use 20 filters to try to find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I honestly do not know what they are solving. It is beyond me. I just hope when i log in one day that my issues are fixed and that the fix did not create another problem.
Easy to navigate Sales Tool - It has gotten better with every upgrade
What do you like best about the product?
I like the mass update option
Also, how easy it is to navigate and find all records right there, for example when you are in the Accouint table, you can see invoices, ship to addresses, contacts, etc. This is very important to have it all there when you are part of the Sales team.

What do you dislike about the product?
We, well, I personally, liked almost everything. The only downside was when we had to constantly clear our cookies and cache otherwise Sugar CRM would appear just blank. When trying to reach out Sugar Support, we barely received any communication. That makes it really hard, especially for the sales and engineering team.

A reliable, customizable CRM platform - our team is happy!
What do you like best about the product?
Sugar sell is customizable on the module, field, and process level. We've been able to manipulate our instance in pertty incredible ways to perform complex workflows and work for our unique style of business. That's been really impressive for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though you can build beautiful dashboards of data, you have no place to input goals. What good is a set of numbers without a goal?
We've experienced some bugs in later versions that I really wouldn't have expected to see in later versions, which was frustrating. We also have some emails then send when processes run and sometimes they send right away, other times we're waiting around for up to 30-50 minutes. It doesn't seem to be resolvable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sugar sell helps us organize account and client information, while tracking processes and workflows those records are involved in. We're able to attribute activity with these records and identify if they've lead to business.

What do you like best about the product?
UX is great, very easy to use. The Tool is also extremely robust with both admin configuration as well as code extensions within the Sugar framework. Not only is it a great sales and customer serivce tool, it can also be extended to be a custom database wtih custom objects/module and custom functionality. Recently added functionality like the focus drawer and action buttons allow for ease of use and the ability to have allfunctionality on one page without having to open multiple windows
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting tool could be improved, however the work-around for that is Sugar discover or an integration to an existing Business Intelligence tool.

Sales + Account management. Manage leads, opportunities, pipeline, produce proposals, and leverage their workflow automation tool to help automate certain functions within our business.

It provides a comprehensive set of features to streamline sales processes and improve sales team productivity. Sugar Sell enables businesses to effectively manage leads, track opportunities, automate sales workflows, generate quotes, and analyze sales performance through robust reporting and analytics.

Great program, easy to use and easy to customize.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and customize, and the customer support is excellent! It allows us to keep track of conversations with customers as well as keep email records.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit overkill for what we need, but what we do need, it does perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us keep track of the companies and the people that we deal with. It allows us to create custom fields to show what customers can buy what products. We are able to write reports to export contacts based on these fields so we can focus specific product email campaigns on the appropriate customers. We also keep track of interactions with each customer so that when they call, any customer service rep can help them.
Overall a good experience.

I think Sugar can add a few more simple features like auto-correct for simple words

Customizable CRM for small business
What do you like best about the product?
Good functionality, with ability to add licenses as company grows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be more useful to us if written in Python, not php.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a while there was a minimum number of licenses required, and we didn't have that many people. Now, we can get just the number of licenses we need, with the option to add more in the future.
