A great way to produce data management
What do you like best about the product?
The SugarCRM is a free data management tool customizable the same way any other CRM is - similar to an Access database with the ability to use it as a data warehousing to GUI reporting interface. It's easy to program and setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited to small business functions and connectivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Small business data management & reporting of performance from these data

Easy to learn and very customizable
What do you like best about the product?
The best for me was the sugarCRM dashboard, Where you can customize and create a widgets to your business needs and see all of your shortcut and reports in one place. Also, the workflow functions are easy to manage and create.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like the least about Sugar is the lack of mobile features on the Sugar mobile app. It has the main quick creates of your client accounts, log calls and meetings, etc., but you are not able to create reports and workflows from within the mobile app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that I use with SugarCRM to solve is to keep all of my accounts and meetings calls in one place so that everything is organized. Also, It provides me with the capability of creating detailed report as well as keeping track of marketing automations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation is to others that are considering sugar CRM is to first purchase a limited number of users for the software, instead of purchasing and user for every employee. Also, Designate an administrator to learn sugar studio and create the automated workflows that was sued the company’s need.
Fairly priced but not very integrated compared to other CRM

Fairly priced and good customer service for customization etc

Not very well integrated - can not get reports on excel which can be easily digested

Cross border sales team - so was important for us to keep track of accounts etc

Inexpensive yet not very well integrated

What do you like best about the product?
I asked why do we have to go through this as a new customer as its not in anyones interest and was told because they can. The initial sales agent Amara Cole was nice but promised lots of stuff that was never delivered
What do you dislike about the product?
They passed us onto a so called Elite partner to implement system and despit spending over EUR65000 we are left with no system and all efforts to get help from Sugar have been ignored. They only take large corperate accounts seriously from my experience and their actions nearly put our company out of business. Luckily we found another system to bail us out and we are back on track but no thanks to Sugar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a big Tax problem on our profits but with Sugar we were soon in minus and over lots of losees to write off on Tax
Recommendations to others considering the product:
dont use it unless you are a really big Company with lots of licenses

Needs extra tool for Marketing-Automation - and there are lots of solutions integrated with SugarCRM.

We growed our Business from 0 to an 8-digit number of business-revenue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to enable your sales-organisation you want to go with SugarCRM. And connect it to a Marketing-Automation-Suite and you have Sales and Marketing aligned. That's all!
Great CRM and Easy To USE

I like its ease of use and the fact that you can add as much information as you want to the contact files

I wish that more companies would integrate their software to Sugar.

Account and project tracking and closing more orders.
Horrible CRM system, very dated and not user intuitive

Reminders and how it is easy to customize your home page to fit your needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Not smart system, you have to know exactly how an account is spelled to look up account. Example if your account is J.Smith and Company it wouldn't find J Smith you would need the . For it to pull , so lots of errors and opportunities to have double accounts and such

Look for a more intuitive and smarter crm system

Easy navigation for simple task/ profile updates etc.

Takes quite a few clicks to complete a task.

Help to keep my clients/POC's organized , up to date and to remind me who to reach out to when. Retains all notes for each individual POC

If you do not need anything big and fancy- this works great for sorting information on clients.
Everything you need, nothing you don't

I like the ability to strip the CRM down to just the tools that are important to each user. This helps with productivity as well as adoption for new employees.

Sometimes the modules can be a bit tough to edit on your own.

Better tracking of deals through the various sales stages as well as more organized data for contact points with customers and prospects.
