My company uses Sugar to keep tracking of all Dealerships that we are working with.
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to change the status of each dealership that i am working with, along with contacts to keep track of who is my contact for each store. also keeping notes on each store.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really haven't found much to dislike about it.. I wish it was easier to create/manage dashboards- as it is a little confusing but other than that, there is really not much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep me organized, which i am not the best at.

SugarCRM is our Main Source for Tracking Customer Comments and Complaints
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Sugar CRM for the past three years with great success. We are able to input customer data, track complaints, see comments, and track accountability for a specific case and client. It is fast and easy to use and create a seamless database for consolidating our customers and their cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to complain about with SugarCRM. It does what it is supposed to do and does so very easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track accountability complaints that need addressing within each department. It has centralized our customer comments, complaints, and allows us to follow up with issues that currently exist in the form of open cases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great to use if you are looking to consolidate all customer data into one program to track cases that need addressing.

I like it because Sugar is a complete CRM platform that consolidates all the critical marketing, sales and service information, and is a powerful application that will help you repeat and automate your best practices. Sugar easily integrates with any application in your environment and offers all this value through a modern user experience that can be personalized by each individual in your business and is optimized for use in the devices of those individuals who use it all. days.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually there is nothing that I do not like. There are some features that I'd love to see, but the SugarCRM development team is rolling out improvements and bug fixes on a quarterly basis and I'm being patient waiting for good results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The management of my company has totally changed optimizes our sales, because it has a good customer service.

Excellent and reliable product. Do not hesitate to acquire it.
Not my favorite CRM, but not the worst
What do you like best about the product?
To be honest, there is not a whole lot I love about Sugar. But I will say, as a sales rep, it's very easy to see who each account belongs to and who has touched it last.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been times where I have saved pretty high level contacts in Sugar, and I go back the next day to call that person and the contact is still in there, but the contact information is no longer there. Not really easy to task out your day with Sugar. Not easy to search for accounts, or create various filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's good for keeping notes of what I said last to a customer/prospect. But other than that I don't see much other benefit. It's a glorified address book.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a CRM that can help manage your day, is easy to navigate, and saves everything you put in there; don't go with Sugar.

What do you like best about the product?
Scalable, open source , anything can be changed. easy to implement with voip systems and billing systems, can print invoices, can alongside voip put caller id on screen and automatically create ticket
What do you dislike about the product?
too flat, not so graphically attractive, so its harder to show it to managers, but functionality is great

Whole Telecommunication system was in SugarCRM. All customers, all tickets basically whole company was tracket in CRM

Great tool, really good easy to implement and easy for administrators

The best part of SugarCRM is that it is highly customizable. There are also a lot of third-party integrations.

A con of SugarCRM is that there is a minimum 10 user limit. It may restrain budget.

SugarCRM is a powerful CRM that businesses can make their own, with endless customization and an open API. But its user minimum may strain the budget.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can be customized to fit the needs of the user base. There seems to be a lot of flexibility with the customization available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had many issues. My main issue has been with some of the search features, but I believe that was due to the learning curve rather than to how it was set up.

I primarily use Sugar to run reports and pull mail campaign lists.

It is easy to use. Gets the job done. Meets bare minimum.

Seems primitive. Is not as advanced as Salesforce.

Maintain clientele. (Sales to providers) organize and graph out sales targets.

It isn't the most advanced but good if you're on a budget.
Pros and Cons of Sugar CRM
What do you like best about the product?
It is very customize-able so to an extent, you can code it in a way that works best for your company. I also like that there are several categories for touch points so you can prioritize them accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very user friendly or efficient. It often requires several clicks just to make one log. It also does not provide much in the way of analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sugar helps me juggle several hundred clients. Their notifications and several different categories for touch points helps me make sure all my clients get the attention they need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It takes awhile to get used to, and even longer to learn how to use it most efficiently. But once you get the hang of it, it is an invaluable tool for sales reps.

What do you like best about the product?
Sales tools, lead tracking tools, reporting features are second to none
Module builder is fantastic and very customizable.
Open source roots. Benefits from the rising tide of PHP innovations which let you keep up to date by adding new modules for a very affordable prices. There is a massive community of PHP developers available to help build custom modules for you for cheap prices, if you don't have PHP programming skills.

Bargain paid open source CRM with lots of power
It can take some time to get used to how to use it. Also, it's too bad the free SugarCRM CE (Community Edition) version 6.5.25 is somewhat outdated, and updated only to fix security bugs. Although, it's about 75% the same features as the paid current version of SugarCRM Pro 7.8.
