I think that sugar is the best at what it's made for
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is (once set up) to add and edit things. Our company uses Sugar in the marketing and sales dept. in order to track sales, opportunities and keep projects organized. Which means that our logs/entries are forever changing because things need updated. It's extremely easy to jump on and just make the edits and update. We have it linked to Slack (our internal messaging system) and when we update an opportunity, it sends out a message to the whole company to update. So, if we win a large project, the whole company can be informed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The updates that occur can sometimes ruin the calculated fields we have set up. As of recently, when the sugar updates have been occurring, the fields we have in employee sections and some project sections have been incorrect. For example, with the latest update, our employee tenure count won't update automatically now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some benefits that we've seen are more productivity with proposals and keeping opportunities organized. Being that the software is so easy to use, it's keeping our projects and opps. way more organized for others. Now, it's just improving the user, not the software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sugar is great for businesses to start organizing their projects and opportunities and keep things universal and easy to access. Utilize the reports!

Simple to customise once you learn how to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards are a great way to help people understand the value of business intelligence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the modules work in the same way, for example, not being able to mass import to the quotes module, or the lack of sidecar in the documents module. Out of the box dashlets don't provide drill through data so have to create custom reports every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding of pipeline, recording of advice given to customers.
Customised Fund Management Software Use
What do you like best about the product?
SugarCRM's ability to be customised has allowed it to be tailored specifically to our requirements, both in terms of usage and with regards to regulations that must be followed during the course of our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting feature in SugarCRM is limited in how the data within the system can be represented. Although more complex reports can be written in SQL, the inability to easily lay them out limits their usefulness for users who are not familiar with SQL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing funding claims requires numerous audit checks and review of spending according to eligibility rules. Our customised SugarCRM installation massively improves the ability of those at the top of the cascade to monitor the progress of claims and check on all management and financial verifications throughout the process.

The way the my calls is organized. It doesnt give you alerts when you need to make calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A great way to keep up with clients and leave notes. I aleays know where I left off with them our last conversation.

What do you like best about the product?
its very simple to use, you do not need to be a genius to work on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
i have used salesforce before and it barely compares in terms of efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
business wise we are pretty much just consulting and closing clients.
benefits again just the simplicity of it.
benefits again just the simplicity of it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very simple to use and if you have employees that are computer illiterate then this is the crm for you.
Greatest CRM i've tried. And it's free.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup, powerful tools. There's nothing to long for and everything to have. Great for customization, great for having a complete overview and even greater for collaboration, in a customer/sales capacity. This is the one to get!
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres a little bit for everyone! users, powerusers and administrators. The only downside is, though it's easy to set up, and is packed with powerful tools, it can take a bit of time finding them and getting the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using SugarCRM for customer relations, meeting/call management and storing information about our customer, accessible to our 4 salespeople. Just works like a charm! 10/10!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get the app for mobile! It works well, on the go, when a PC is not an option.
Sugar is a valuable CRM for a software company that requires customer subscription keycodes
What do you like best about the product?
Sugar has allowed us to quickly search for what we need in our database vs our old CRM. We also love the Collabspot liason tool for Gmail/Sugar. We can quickly input customer details right from Gmail.
What do you dislike about the product?
When Collabspot acts up or Sugar slows down intermittently we find that to be very frustrating. It also costs quite a bit to customize
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sugar has allowed us to integrate our client subscriptions with our contacts and leverage plug ins such as Delivra to quickly reach our audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
compare the flexibility of Sugar VS other CRMS such as Salesforce which we feel were very rigid when needing customizing
Major improvement from our previous CRM.
What do you like best about the product?
The modules and tabs are easy to use and there's a lot of opportunity to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that required additional programming because they didn't fit our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're cleaning up our database, generating tons of reports, and attempting to use it to improve our marketing. Easier for our sales reps to prospect.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn the system and you'll love it.
Highly Customizable CRM / Best for the Technologically Saavy
What do you like best about the product?
SugarCRM offers users the ability to customize the CRM for their own organization. The Admin panel offers a great deal of customization for most people with a modicum of technical knowledge, but if you are more familiar with coding then you can change the source code to achieve greater customization and use the API for additional integration with other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the training is excellent it is either geared toward people will very little technical knowledge or experienced developers. There is not much help for technologically saavy noobs like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing all our clients' data into a single repository.
