SugarCRM is a great tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to adapt to our needs (feilds, layout), Sugar support team answer quickly, lots of documentation available
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionalities would help in the Leads module, but Sugar team added this in the cases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better documentation of the relation with our customers

System use
What do you like best about the product?
It has a nice layout and I like the customer service line for Enterprise users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been several times there are system errors or the system is down for a few minutes. The only explanation from Sugar CS is that there is something wrong with the server. The system is not nearly as user-friendly as Salesforce. It's harder to make changes and there are not as many vendors for doing customization. The vendors that we have worked with have not been nearly as helpful as our Salesforce vendors. However, Sugar is much cheaper so it is a tradeoff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our CRM is great for organizing and tracking sales, exporting information for printing labels for thank you notes and managing bids won with educational entities.

Nothing so far because I have only used a few accounts features and the customer portal

its backend feels clunky records commonly are corrupted and need to be removed

make sure you want cloud based or on premises both have different features
Decent CRM System
What do you like best about the product?
The best things about Sugar (in theory) are the ways to integrate with email and putting together lists. The lead scores generated with the integration with Act-On are also helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We got Sugar to use in conjunction with Act-On...but the integrate doesn't really work. The lists don't carry over like they're supposed to. The lists are difficult to put together and edit. The function of filters is not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have a great way to organize our contacts, and Sugar's basic functions are easy to navigate. For my colleagues that use the Sugar plug in as well, it's helpful to integrate contact with any contacts with the click of a button.

What do you like best about the product?
Locating cases is very easy in order to assist clients. Also, I like the fact that you can receive reminders about tickets via email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its difficult to customize. I have too much items i.e. drop downs which I do not use but cannot remove.

Expediting our clients issues to be resolved in a timely manner.

It is an excellent tool to effectively track customer data, in addition you can keep track of transactions and thus achieve a practical monitoring of all data thus improving communication are customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
its learning curve can be a bit complex to handle, since it has some functions that are a bit difficult to handle but after using it a few days you manage to handle it in the best way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a very practical and beneficial tool that allows you to keep track of and manage customer data in an appropriate manner which allows you to improve interpersonal relationships with customers.

Excellent CRM, very customizable and we are able to integrate it with other programs.

Sometimes I find it challenging to get the integrations to work without some more indepth IT knowledge.
