Perfect for our business
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase does exactly what we need it to do. We use it to keep track of all our bookings, hotels, clients, proposals—everything. What I really like is how customizable it is. We built out most of our platform about five years ago, and as time has gone on, we’ve been able to make tweaks and additions when needed. I took the Quickbase University course years ago, so when we need updates or reports, it’s easy to handle. We also work with a developer occasionally for things like pipelines or automatic emails, but for the most part, it’s straightforward to manage. Each department has its own view, which makes it simple for everyone to find what they need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbase makes it easy to customize reports and dashboards. However, not every employee has the skills or access to do this on their own. As such, I get many requests from my staff for new reports and customizations that will increase the efficiency of their workflows--but I often end up building those out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Quickbase, we didn’t have a unified system to organize everything. Now, everything is centralized and easy to find—whether it’s hotel rates, contracts, rooming lists, commissions, or accounting details. Each team has customized reports and dashboards tailored to their needs, which saves time and keeps things organized. For example, our contracts team can focus on the details of hotel agreements, while the accounting team has their own filtered view for commissions. Recently, we’ve started using Quickbase as a CRM for our growing sales team, which has helped us consolidate tools and collect more client data. Overall, Quickbase has streamlined our workflows and made it easier for everyone to stay on top of their tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is a great way for our company to track installs including being able to upload completion photos. We can provide our customers access and they can track the progress of their program as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me personally, it's just trying to learn the behind the scenes aspect of QB and how it works. I was an attendee at the Empower 2025 to try and learn more about it.

It helps to keep things streamlined and a great way to track project progress.
Fast Onramp in a Complex Use Case
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is incredibly useful for our business case since it allows non-technical users to function as developers very quickly. We have numerous users who need the ability to spin up small project applications, and are able to do so quickly and with minimal technical training. This allows us to integrate our many complex systems and existing solutions really seamlessly, without contracting externally or hiring dedicated developers. We've also had great interactions with our service reps and the Quickbase team as whole, they've been responsive and helped us find solutions to problems we couldn't solve ourselves. Quickbase hasn't been in our process that long yet (2-3 years), but has quickly become a daily driver for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The largest hurdle that we experience regularly with Quickbase is the lack of official development resources. The Quickbase development community (the Qrew) is really helpful in this area, but there's often not a specific resource that can be found about the types of issues we're trying to solve. This has previously led to our team thinking that they were trying to do something impossible within the platform or that a certain feature did not exist even though Quickbase was capable of solving the issues they wanted it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Quickbase, a huge amount of the complex work we do (aviation industry) existed in the form of thousands of spreadsheets. This resulted in huge problems when someone would move on from the organization, or simply forget where they had saved a particular sheet. Quickbase allowed us to centralize all our work and bring a lot of those disparate resources together into one central hub.

Not enough time to attend all the sessions I wanted to get to.

We are now running a lot of business stuff through QB and made us more efficient and cost effective

User interfaces are outdated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Quickbase as the Mortor to fill in the gaps of our big block systems like, SAP, Sales Force, Dynamics, etc.
My experience with quickbase has been positive, but my coworkers hate it.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to create a database of relational data that allows me to update a single form that then updates multiple tables worth of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
My coworkers hate quickbase because it struggles to work on their mobile devices, and the billing system they use through it does not work. They are moving away from quickbase and moving to another form system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OSHA record keeping, work fleet mileage records, water sampling and lab data, and customer directory.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize information and capabilities throughout the business, and tailored to a widely dispersed employment base. Always accurate and dependable.

What do you dislike about the product?
The helpdesk. More often than not, when a case is submitted, it takes a long time for the support after the first interaction. I recently had a scenario where I published an updated app from the sandbox, but I could not find any documentation on migrating the sandbox pipeline to the production app. The person had to go research it themselves. A day or more when by and I finally figured it out on my own and let the tech know.
I simply felt that the pipeline helpdesk crew should have known the process or point me in the correct direction - they did not.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time !! if we are observing a situation that has become time consuming, we will figure out a way to automate it. If we can do it manually on computers, it can be automated through QB
Excellent Conference,very informative & was able to get one-on-one help to enhance my Quickbase App!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how helpful everyone at Quickbase is. If you are struggling with something within your app everyone has been ready to help however they can. I love being able to use the QuickBase university to learn more and put it to use in my current application. We are not live yet but the idea of ditching excel spreadsheets and just using Quickbase sounds amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
As a brand new builder the most difficult thing I have found is that many of the live trainings feel more geared towards the builders who have been doing this for awhile. I do still find them helpful but can be confusing at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping limit our daily manual process of case management. Saving time on these tasks can allow us to have more time to spend focusing on other areas of our business.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives a platform for creating workflows at one place. Integrates several tools into 1 place, easy to learn and create on Quickbase

Pipeline errors occur very frequently, poor UI/UX look and feel, unable to customize the look and feel for our users.

We are using it for our travel and Headcount management, it is of great help to get a centralized repository, user access and protection, scalable solution
