It is quick and easy to stand up a new app as well as integrate with the built in API. We have successfully created many bi-directional processes to both push and pull data systematically with QuickBase
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of governance and controls allows anyone to create apps in the enterprise without validating MDM strategy or overlapping/competing data points
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An input platform for our end users to self manage centralized records

Not A Fan of Quickbase

  • December 06, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
It was a central location for the work I needed to do
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is terrible. It displays too much information and makes it harder than it needs to be to view the information you want to view. It is incredibly difficult to customize. I have dozens of columns and I need to use like 3-4. If I hid all of the columns that I did not want to use they would all come back if I was to refresh or leave the page.

PDFs that were uploaded to QB could be intergrated better into the app. You should be able to view a PDF within a window in QB. If I wanted to view a PDF in QB I had to download it and as a result I had to download the same PDF multiple times, which cluttered my downloads folder. QB should also have a built in video player to view video that is linked to in QB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me track work that I am doing and approval of products our organization is creating

New Quickbase User

  • December 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The system is fairly easy to get aquainted with. There are great; free online resources at Quickbase University. I love the versitility of the platform. If you can think of it, you can probably do it in quickbase. I also like the ease of use and the UI for building apps. There are also a ton of integration options pending your companies availibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve pending on what you would like to build.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase saves me from having to to go thru an aquisition and cost of a new tool, or the long cycle of having something developed by the technology team. Also, gives me, the expert on the app i built, the ability to maintain and fix things that may go wrong.

Useful for no-code, but very expensive for multiple users

  • December 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The real reason we use Quickbase is for no-code data management and pipelines. If I got hit by a bus, my team might be able to figure out Quickbase, but would be lost with a standard solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quickbase is very expensive. If my team were more "up-to-date" with modern data solutions, we would be using open source tools and building our own UI for them, because the development cost would quickly pay for itself, compared to Quickbase.
Quickbase's computing started bottlenecking, around the same time as the FastField integrations (I don't remember the exact timeline). Forms seem to load slower, and transactions to the db seem to take slightly longer to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No-code solution for app development; my non-technical team might be able to figure it out (as opposed to other solutions), if I suddenly disappeared.

Quick Base is a flexible platform to handle your business information

  • December 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Quick Base is fully customizable. Our company started with it as a basic CRM software and over time we have integrated into our business end-to-end. Seriously, the only phase of the business not touched by Quick Base is banking. If you have the ability to make basic functions in Excel, you can learn how to use Quick Base and make it work for your business. It's a lot easier to use than you would think, because the system is "low code" and relies on basic concepts like conditional statements and table relationships. Whenever I come up with an idea, the time from idea to implementation is incredibly short and the process is easy. We use it all day, every day and it's hard to imagine life without it. The few time's I've reachout to customer support, everyone I've dealt with has been very helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
The one real downside about Quick Base is the minimum required users. If you have a small company, it may be a stretch to afford as you'll be required to have more users than you'll need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to see information about our business that we've never had access to in the past... it's helped us be more aware of trends and address issues more quickly than in the past. Now we're using actual data, not just "feelings" about how the business is doing.
