It was great for putting in time sheets

Easiness of time sheets and submitting them

Time sheets
SO good, user friendly for basics, advanced features are there but get understandably dense.
What do you like best about the product?
My team made our own platform for project, maintenance, and performance tracking. It has everything we could ask for and more. With a little help from IT we have automatic APIs pulling in production data as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really quickbase's fault, but the more I add the more complicated it gets. Sometimes it is not the best or most customizable at first glance, but usually there are backdoors to get the look you want, but it may involve some light code.
Unsure how it scales, sometimes it is slow to load, but we have a loooot going on in the background now which may have something to do with it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
letting us track all details on our projects, maintenance cases, dispatches, performance, and a whole plethora of related things. Pulls in information from various sources automatically, exports data to powerBI reports, integrates with 3rd party tools, even pulls data from Dynamics...

Quickbase has allowed for our team to better streamline a number of processes so that we're more efficient and productive in supporting our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found there to be a downside or any detratcors to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supports our team in being increasingly efficient and better able to manage a number of account management related tasks.

Helping us to track projects and then get the data into other places we need
Functional, Convenient, Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The way I describe Quickbase when explaining how it can be used in our organization, is that we ourselves can easily customize each database - adding, removing or changing fields as needed, controlling access/rights, creating our own reports which we can schedule to be sent automatically by duration (ex. daily, weekly, monthly) or when conditions are met (ex. a new record is added or changed), etc. We dont have to wait for someone else somewhere else to consider and respond to our requests to create or update our systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like every single system ever made, it isnt perfect. There are rare occassions when we break the system. But we can easily undo whatever change we shouldnt have made, and do it again correctly.

We use Quickbase to manage projects, track time, record inspections and meetings, and share documents.
Organize, but a little slow

I like how organize and customizable it is.

While accessing certain tabs and folders, it may be slow to load.

User-friendly database system
What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to set up databases that are user-friendly for non-programmer coworkers to use. Costumer Support has been very helpful when contacted.

Can be difficult to change database structure once set up. Sometimes unclear how to access particular settings.

Creates a user friendly database system for record keeping that non-programmers can easily use.
Not a builder but a fixer
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase doesn't seem to have many limits. Reports are easy to create and personalize.
I am a daily user and a very new administrator having recenly graduated from Quickbase University. I like that fields can be added to existing tables to capture new information as our need evolve.

What do you dislike about the product?
Quick base is not easy to manipulate behind the scenes. Our apps were built with lots of depth and detail by a builder with knowledge than I will ever hope to have. She is no longer with the company. I struggle to make updates and changes that won't have negative ripple effects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our projects involve many people, departments and steps. I like that everyone has access to the record for transparency.

Quickbase allows us to customize our ticket system.

Quickbase has had one short period where it lost some data, although we worked with the support team and it was recovered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to see how many customers we are serving every day, month, quarter and year. It also allows us to look at trends and to create information for monthly reports and to make decisions.
Custom Built Experience to Streamline Business Processes
What do you like best about the product?
The support team at Quickbase is amazing. They are receptive to our business and very accessible. They look out for our business needs and see the customer business as the priority. They are also incredible patient when it comes to explaning processes and/or switching owners. They are flexible in making changes to help us be as effective as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Old environments are difficult to remove, and sometimes that makes the platform a little cluttered. But nothing we can't work around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using QB to execute cross functional processes with multiple business units. It also helps us track historical information, which helps with account transfers and YoY strategy.
