What do you like best about the product?
I like that Teamcenter has the ability to store different segments of information in the same system. I used it for Artwork routing, standard storage and tracking, and technical drawing storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hated that it was so finicky to get up and running. Teamcenter was completely dependent on my computer defaulting to the only version of Adobe reader that Teamcenter wanted to use. The problem is that my computer would automatically default to a different version of Teamcenter. So, my tech person would come (days later), uninstall Adobe, reinstall Adobe correct version, block updates and then I could do my work. Then, a few weeks later, my computer would auto update which would send me back to square one.

Artwork routing. Drawing routing, aproval and storage, standard label creation, approval and storage

Include users of the program when you build team center processes. Make sure that all users have the correct drivers and supporting software to use teamcenter

What do you like best about the product?
I am working at Automobile Industry and the industry uses always Teamcenter to find related CAD data because we have a lot of CAD model and these can be properly stored in Teamcenter and ı can access whenever I want ,this is the best solution for big industries

Teamcenter is a solution which integrated with Vismockup but it works slowly and it gives error sometimes

It's a robust tool that caters to all the PLM requirements in the company. One of the best in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are quite ancient, changing them would help the users for modern day requirements

It helps managing the huge data in our company which is a legacy of 130+ years.

What do you like best about the product?
Siemens Teamcenter or VisMockup is a great tool for reviewing 3D CAD models. It is so user freindly and you can learn Teamcenter Base as easy as possible. Navigation and analyzing the model will be easydue to its different set of tools used in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large CPU and Ram is needed to open Complex and Huge Models. if you click to open button for a large model and it starts to freeze. measurement is tough due to options and selection of point or curve is tougher which leads to teamcenter Freeze and sometimes it collapses and we need to reopen the entire model

I love how the database lets you store a huge variety of file types on it, including Catia 3D files, word documents, excel files, PDFs, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how many options there are and how long of a learning curve it requires to be proficient.

I am designing 3D models with suppliers of automotive parts.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its ability to search for the document by its ID with ease, and how quickly the results pop up

How it's difficult to narrow down selections once the results do pop up

Information of design plans as well as double checking reference points I use in a protocol
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a training. My company doesn't offer it - at least from what I know - but if there's one available, do it. And you can hardly do anything in 'viewer' mode too
Decent product life cycle management software but way too many hidden menus
What do you like best about the product?
The only thing I like is the impact analysis feature. It lets me see what higher assemblies use my parts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It let's me finish my work but is very convoluted. Lost of hidden menus and features. Maybe is the fault of my employer that didn't train me well. I wish the search was more powerful (advanced search). Don't like the fact that there are different search templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this sw to open CAD files on a remote server. It lets me create parts, assemblies, etc. I can collaborate with my team on the design. The software lets me open cad files so I can analyze the mechanical system I work in (measure part length, look at interference between parts etc).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used PDMLink in the last and it works much better. I'm not sure if PDMLink it is compatible with NX but I think both CAD and product life cycle SW should be considered together when making a decision to acquire the software. Ease of use, feature rich and good integration between of both crucial for efficient usage of the engineering team's time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Teamcenter because it is a powerful tool for CAD and document lifecycle management and has the ability to integrate into many different CAD packages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software developers are not careful enough when testing new releases for bugs. The Rich Client is not very intuitive/user friendly for infrequent users.
