Teamcenter has a beautiful interface and offers the user clarity, fast document management, communication options, and task management.

Teamcenter requires costly hardware (fast processors and high memory capacity) and third-party software like MsSQL and Windows Server to run.

Teamcenter can integrate with all the major CAD systems in the market seamlessly, which is unique and justifies it's adoption as the most used PLM system in the industry today.
It's also scalable, so you can start by managing the engineering data and grow it at your own pace to other areas of the business.

What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter can be complex to configure if the user doesn't want to use a predefined configuration. Also, as it grows inside the company, it will be mandatory to have a technical person in the organization to manage it internally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly, it streamlines the access to engineering data by using a single source of information, avoiding errors and waste of time while looking for information. It also helps us to define processes and coherent behaviours when handling data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into what exists in the market and talk to users of the different solutions. There is not a single solution that suits all the customers, although Teamcenter is the most versatile of them all, as it is very open and adjustable.

It is one of the most complete management tools on the market, and has many integrations with several of the most popular CAD design tools, through integrations, that if using Siemens solutions guarantees easier operation thanks to being tools that are easily integrated each.

the initial implementation can be a bit delayed, but once it is installed, a big change can be seen in how the product life cycle is managed

a client implemented it and a management of design plans was carried out, so that a team of several designers could work collaboratively and quickly resolve any changes in their requirements, resulting in a reduction in bottlenecks
