What do you like best about the product?
Teamcneter provides a very good document management controling all document and data files versions. This way all sites have access to the latest informations in real time.
Another thing is the NX and SAP integration that accelerate our users perfomance.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing to complain abaout teamcenter is that depending on the complexibility of the workflows and integrations, users may have difficults using the software at the begining.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documents organization and version control.

What do you dislike about the product?
Task steps are frequently haphazard and can be made easier and more logical. Similarly, documentation is haphazard and search should be a lot better.

Slow operation when switch from Summary to view and other icon, you have to use the F5 key a lot

What do you like best about the product?
1) Managing & Sharing data including CAD files, Documents, and other product-related information across the Teamcenter is easy as pie.
2)Handling Revesions: Revesion is the vital part of any PLM cycle and these revesions can be handled in a clear way in TC because of the auto-updates on revision.
3)Managing Workflows: Setting the workflows and managing access to the individuals can be easily implemented by the Administrator.
4) Analytics features: It has a decision support capabilities based on the analytics and reports from past, which provides quality insights for decision making.
5) Multi-Integration: It can integrate with Siemens Software and other third-party applications as well, which greatly helps in Product Development without depending on a single software.

1) Customer Support for TC implementation and Data Migration depends upon the Vendor through which you are buying the software.
2) TC has a cluster of modules which can sometimes make it confusing to understand and use to its fullest content.
3) Costing is a major factor to consider as initial software cost + implementation cost + Maintenance cost will all get added to your total TC journey.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter is solving a major problem of managing of data of a Product, throughout its PLM cycle which includes sending RFQs to designing, Testing, Revision management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and so on, which helps me to perform my work smoothly avoiding confusion and cutting on inter-departmental meeting time.
Managing PLC using teamcenter has ensured knowledge transfer for us !!

The ease of use and how seamlessly it can store your knowledge so that each and every employee can start working from day 1 . When we deployed it for a major automotive m/f their coordination between purchase and r&d increased threefold bringing down project timelines
What do you dislike about the product?
The training aspect can be improved as many people who start using teamcenter needs training and current manuals are way outdated so it creates dependency on existing people which is not good in healthy working environment

Teamcenter is backbone of not only new product design but also major cornerstone for existing designs in automotive firm where we deployed it. Due to this tracking the version is really easy

Learning curve is high, due to diversity of covered areas. Time-consuming deployment has to be considered
