Isaiah Teamcenter Review
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter allows information to be tied directly to the components used in the models. The ability to stimulate real life scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least is the reuse of the names of the components within Teamcenter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Teamcenter allows us to address is associating service and repair data to components by VIN.

Reliability of the software and the ease

The subscription cost of each seperate feature

Storing and making data available for seperate teams

UI is easy to configure for each type of user.

Building reports is a little painful due to property names.

Retention of training documents and version control

AWC Interface is best to use. Teamcenter comes with all the different modules and flavors which will help our customers to use what they need

Not that i know of. Teamcenter does not have any limitations and has a good UI

Home page layout and search options. Tile based option icons.

Performance, response time of the result for any of the user action.

Managing the engineering changes efficiently, tracking the changes end to end. Powerful search and metrics.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a great product that requires only one system not many for BOM management

The layout on the landing page of the active workspace

it is allowing our customers to have a one stop shop for all their data
Knowing that the right object is in the right place
What do you like best about the product?
When you make an update to 1 object that is used in many products, that update is pushed to all the products
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is veryu complex to configure, it would be nice if there was a gallery of templates to use that other companies have also used.

We used to use Excel to create part numbers, but we now use TC. We used to store all the documents in a shared drive, not we use TC

It's not always easy to use when you're not trained

When we release new products Teamcenter helps us manage the Lifecycle
Easy to learn, valuable to know
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it was to learn. I started a job using Teamcenter with no experience and was able to pick everything up including our companies customizations in just a couple months.
I also like how valuable knowing it seems to be. I have no desire to switch jobs or places, but knowing that I will be able to use what I've learned and do what I'm doing elsewhere need be is the icing on top.

What do you dislike about the product?
It gets more intuitive over time, but can always be better. Glad they're all in on Actove Workspqce because the RAC client is a mess by comparison and does not reflect the standards of today's digital world. Whereas active workspace is the peak of that standard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows our company to manage terabytes worth of data through storing it all in one place, and being accessible and workable in that single space. It digitally connects the company at every role and level.
