What do you like best about the product?
I use Meltwater to efficiently source journalists and track our media coverage. The software makes compiling lists in an organized and digestible manner impressively straightforward. I absolutely value the organizational features of Meltwater, which allow me to maintain a clear structure in my tasks. Additionally, the simple tab functionality enhances the user experience by making navigation seamless and intuitive. I also found the initial setup of Meltwater to be exceptionally easy, which is a huge advantage for getting started quickly without unnecessary complications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find pitching through Meltwater challenging as I often don't receive responses from journalists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater to source journalists and easily find media coverage on us, organizing data in a digestible manner.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Meltwater incredibly valuable for media tracking and public relations, especially with its ability to conduct Boolean searches and hyper-target journalists. These features are crucial in enabling me to secure credible earned media coverages, which is a significant part of my work. Furthermore, the initial setup of Meltwater was great and pretty easy, ensuring a smooth start. Overall, these factors collectively enhance my productivity and effectiveness in media monitoring and outreach tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limitation in the journalists database for developing countries, particularly the underrepresentation in regions like Africa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater for media tracking, journalist outreach, and sentiment analysis, helping me secure credible media coverage efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you get familiar with the platform, it becomes easy to use and customize to fit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that not all media outlets or clippings appear in the analysis, since the platform doesn’t support sources requiring an account. While that’s understandable, it means I don’t get a complete overview and have to double-check on Google to ensure nothing is missing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps me gather media monitoring data and easily create internal reports.

Great Data Centralization, But Room for Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
meltwater is incredible at capturing large amounts of data and centralizing it in one hub. Starting my day with meltwater, and ending has allowed me to stay on top of the online space for my brand. additionally, the 2nd half of support our team has received from Lou Chalfant has been incredible; she has made the ease of integration... easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
being such a robust tool, it takes an incredible amount of time to become proficient at the product, making it (almost) counter productive in the early learning stages.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and it does exactly what I need in my role as Press Officer in a research company. Whenever I have a question, the back office is quick and concrete in its response.
What do you dislike about the product?
The package sometimes surprises me with a change in the 'interaction' that I did not see coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Keeping track of changes in the staffing at the media, 2) making it easy to connect with the journalists: automated spam filters consider our email via Meltwater as safe

What do you like best about the product?
I find Meltwater incredibly useful because of its AI features that significantly enhance our social listening capabilities. It allows us to access real verbatims and comments about our brands, giving us insights into the reality of how people interact with our products. I also really appreciate the exceptional training provided by the team, which was consistent and personalized. Our training sessions were conducted with such a light and engaging approach, which made learning the platform an enjoyable experience despite its complexity. The weekly calls and personalized attention from the Meltwater team made a significant impact, providing invaluable support and making onboarding a smooth process. The best part of using Meltwater is the people. The account managers consistently work alongside us, ensuring everything is seamless and easy. Their proactive involvement and excellent support have been pivotal, making the human element the highlight of the Meltwater experience.

I think the tracking through the Boolean is still a bit difficult to find interesting information without noise.

I use Meltwater for social listening, gaining insights from real comments about our brand to understand customer experiences better.

unlimited searches. data export is very detailed

UI isnt great. seems very outdated.also some articles when exported are bad links.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is highly user-friendly and simple to navigate. The onboarding process is clear and uncomplicated, and the support provided has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few drawbacks, including the inability to view owned Pinterest content and the restricted analytics available for stories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of my social media data is brought together in one place, so I no longer have to switch between individual platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
The social media management part seems to work very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall usability is a bit too technical for my liking. Also, it seems to lack some key features, or at least they're not as good as could be. One for instance is the social listening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater provides some assistance with analytics, though its capabilities are somewhat limited.
