Lifesaver!
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to cut cells from Excel and Miro automatically converts them into stickies. I also like being able to direct link users to objects on the board and being able to embed docs in the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it really hard to share boards with others in my organization due to weird permission issues. While it says that everyone at my company has access to all the board, I still have to manually invite people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for everything it seems. I use it for visual planning for my team, ideating, design studios, synthesizing information. It's been pretty well adopted by the company so it's a great tool for collaboration.
Best research tool for UX
What do you like best about the product?
It is collaborative and has a lot of useful templates. Very smooth and good user experience. Our team at Deloitte use Miro when we have to brainstorm on problem statements and a zoom call with Miro just works the best while exchanging ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe some tech error, sometimes the boards get locked automatically. A recommendation I would like to give is adding a feature to conduct user research. Once we wanted to share a board among 50 candidates for 50 different responses but could not share it as it needs 50 separate accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly brainstorming, ideation, keeping track of research, planning research etc. We generally start with the questions regarding the problem and try to fill up the research with various templates.
The benefits are very visible, first of all, the walls look clean now as we don’t have to use post-it notes anymore. And when we have to present our research to the clients it becomes very easy. Another benefit is that we add the clients to the boards sometimes and they collaborate with us. Which is a great experience for clients also.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
A very useful tool if you are in the field of UX design, I would say a must-have tool.
Intuitive platform
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very intuitive to use, it is the first tool that I have used where I can literally map my thoughts the way they come to me and organize them in a way that can be easily communicated to others. I also like the visuals of the templates, there are pleasing to look at.
Miro is a beautiful collaboration tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
The print to pdf function doesn't work very well. For some reasons, the fonts are out of place.
Some of the tools (template, pen, etc.) of the same family don't allow the same type of formatting, it feels a bit restricted, but it could have been the developers' choice to keep the platform lean.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think I am solving multiple types of problems. The first one is to communicate what I see to others. Hinging on visualization has been a big improvement toward it. Then, it's also about engaging people in the conversation and having them contributing to the vision.
One of the best tools for organizing and communicating thoughts.
What do you like best about the product?
1. The infinite page design helps me think in a limitless manner. It is an emotional impact but personally helps me tremendously.
2. Ease of organizing the elements to make the work way faster than any other tool (simply by creating an arrow one can create a new element with just an enter).
3. Prebuilt templates are a great way to get inspired and to get started quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. A few ideas for imporvmeent are:
1. The mind map featureset can be significantly improved.
2. Better way to tag different sections of the baord so that it is easier to find one's way back in.

Fast-paced tool
What do you like best about the product?
The most exciting part about working with Miro is its amazing flexibility and adaptability to every task, from architectural diagrams to UX storyboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
After all these years, I still don't understand how board access rights work. Who will see the board I have created? Why do I see some of the other boards and some I can't? And - finding some board I created a year ago, is possible only with the link at hand, it just sinks somewhere in an endless page of boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- The ability to keep all project materials on one borderless page
- A huge number of templates for any task
- An priceless tool for online workshops

Great collaboration tool for UX writers!
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based collaboration. The ability to overlay copy onto images so as writers, we have a feel for how much space we have for copy, the visual hierarchy of the page or screen, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor flaws like the ability to add outlines around imported images, the way text can (or can't) be formatted depending on the "box" type. But overall, there is much more good than bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Copy recommendations for web pages on desktop and mobile devices. The ability to export specific sections of the Miro board into high-quality PDFs is invaluable for communicating recommendations that are easy for non-UX teams to understand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the plunge. It's well worth it.
Good substitute for - and sometimes even enhancement over - physical workshops
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use: even new users will get the hang of it quickly (even though navigation needs a little getting used to).
Beautiful results: The developers thought of many details to make the result look prettier and more clutter-free than for instance designing a slide in Powerpoint

What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation is a little difficult at first. Also, I still don't understand their membership model, which is quite complicated. But now that I have a premium membership for some of my boards, I can work with everybody I need to, so I don't care too much anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ideation; visualising complex systems for which Powerpoint is too ugly and paper to cumbersome & unflexible; to collect all of our workshop results over a couple of months in one place.
A great way to plan, visualize, and socialize your work
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience and collaboration are tied for number 1.
UX - The placement of key features and functions are intuitive which makes it easy to build and share ideas.
Collaboration - Super easy to work with others on the same board to collaborate on ideas and workflows. Works great in real-time as well and is invaluable for remote meetings.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are aesthetic limitations to Miro. Unless you upload custom images and designs, the lines, shapes, and text native to Miro are all you have to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solves problems related to/supports the delivery of:
- Socializing ideas and workflows
- Strategic planning
- Tactical planning
- Campaign/project validation
- Collaboration
- Designing mockups
- Mindmapping

Essential tool for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been instrumental in facilitating group brainstorming during the COVID lockdown. A tool I'll use long after our return to office.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is slightly longer than I'd like, though the more robust the tool, the longer the learning curve generally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've held several highly-collaborative brainstorming sessions, retrospectives, group planning exercises, etc. that I can't imagine running without Miro in this remote era.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is no competitor for remote collaboration that is as robust and as much of a joy to use as Miro
Super helpful tool for many things, and great for working remotely!
What do you like best about the product?
- Very easy to use for anyone—it's not targeted to a very specific industry/role, many people in an organization can make use of it, as it's a whiteboarding tool
- Great for remote work, especially now when many people are working remotely during the pandemic
- Very collaborative
- Great for streamlining processes (stakeholders reviews, showing process, creating flows, creating both low and high-fidelity wireframes, card sorting, creating information architectures, scrappy documentation, brainstorming sessions, etc.)—the possibility is literally endless.
- There are many templates within the app, and you can create your own as well for your team/organization
- Overall, it's an essential tool for my team at my company and for my freelance work

What do you dislike about the product?
- It can slow down your computer quite a bit, especially while you're on a Zoom call
- The drawing tool can be a little more intuitive (tried to draw a rough storyboard on Miro and it was quite challenging and time-consuming)
- Not the biggest issue, but it is a little slower than being able to draw on a physical whiteboard when brainstorming with the team, but the upside is that it's documented and editable

- Great alternative to a physical whiteboard, especially for remote workers
