Using Miro as an Educator and School by S.Kim
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that Miro allows for real live-time collaboration and updates for team use. It has been very useful during meetings when people need to brainstorm in real-time and can follow along on one Miro board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the left sidebar can get a bit tricky because there are so many options and buttons. I think it would be useful if Miro could simplify this left sidebar option. The Zoom In/Out function can also sometimes be fuzzy. Additionally, when uploading photos, sometimes they appear fuzzy and it requires refreshing/zooming in for the photo to load at its fullest/highest quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using Miro for a lot of visual collaboration especially now with COVID. Through the Educator function, I am able to make and create a Miro board that anyone is able to join/collaborate with, without the hassle of having people make accounts (aka the Anonymous Guest feature). I also use it for my club organization brainstorming sessions and it is nice because in person we would usually brainstorm using a whiteboard but cannot do that anymore, so Miro is an excellent alternative.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend people to consider investing in an Education plan if they are planning on using Miro for brainstorming and/or education. I think students have a lot of fun with the collaborative features of Miro and it makes for an alternative experience that was been altered by COVID. Students enjoy having something to visualize and it's difficult to completely replace that with something virtual, but Miro does a great job of that "whiteboard" lesson feeling that I think everyone could benefit from.
Collaboration, Workshopping, Visioning, Structuring,
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is not only a digital whiteboard but a breakthrough application of a what whiteboards can be in the digital age. I use it to collaborate asynchronously with my teams, to workshop synchronously between 2 and 25 people. Furthermore I use it to visionalize storyboards individually as well as to gather, structure and synthesize research. I have a both a corporate account and a private one.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is that there are no shares to buy of miro (yet?). Because I think it is that amazing! Ok, I would appreciate 2 more boards for private use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro has been an absolute game changer for our company and our clients
What do you like best about the product?
The ease-of-use and flexibility of the platform has provided a seemingly endless string of benefits for our company. With Miro we're able to quickly design new workflows, create visually appealing client deliverables, or collaborate asynchronously, all without having to utilize the bloated ecosystems of other major tech providers like Google or Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only wish we could make the frame outlines completely invisible to the audience while in presentation mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using the whiteboard element to collectively review client fact patterns, creating internal workflow charts, and designing visual aids for clients without having to learn Adobe In-Design. We've seen improvement across the company in collaboration and information retention, as the ease of use and access encourages the team to utilize Miro frequently.
Miro lives up to the Online Visual Collaboration Platform for Teamwork and may more use cases
What do you like best about the product?
I love the existing templates and the descriptions that come with the templates which makes it easier to create effective boards for any audience, team or user. I also love the avatar follow feature, whenever is someone is interacting on the miro board if others click on the main person the screen moves along with main user interaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of sharing isn't so intuitive and easy to do compared to creately, mural, canva and similar apps. I think if sharing is made easier for people outside a team to collaborate and leave comments will be a huge benefit. I also think the export process can be improved too so that user can get the best quality out of their boards shared to guests, maybe a description of the sharing formats and what they're best used for will be most impactful. I understand Miro works best within Miro but even an option where you can save a frame as a high-quality PowerPoint will be great. Nevertheless, these dislikes are minor however should be looked at
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving a lot of problems with Miro from tackling users needs and problems to creating an end to end service map and diagrams. The benefits of Miro realized are truely invaluable making myself and my team save more time and also be more creative
Excellent collaborative whiteboarding.
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using it primarily for creating mind map and other diagrams. There is an excellent collection of diagram templates. The collaborative features are also excellent. Miro has a lot of features, most of which I have not tried yet. I really like the ease of use of the mind-map and other templates. The connector options are also great.
The biggest feature is the ability to create a variety of diagrams even in the free edition and also collaborate with others.

What do you dislike about the product?
If someone joins using another person's invite, they cannot create their own team. The only way to this is to leave all teams and create your own team. Then ask to be invited again to collaborate on other teams.
This is a limitation only on the free edition. The plans are all monthly per person. It would have been great if there was an option to purchase an individual licence for a single private board.
The notes object does not resize well. Each one takes a size based on text content. The font sizes do not look great when you have may sticky notes each of them with a different size.
Would be great if Miro supported Google Fonts.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its fun tool to use and plan your session in an interactive way for everyone to be engaged and feel like they have contributed and not just a monotonous one person driving the session and other phasing out. I have been using it since last year March and me and my team have had a really great time.
Love Miro, it's the best for UX
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes wire framing and flow mapping a breeze! I don't have to worry about connecting all the little arrows to my various post it notes and drawings. Miro handles that all automatically: I drop the idea or shape, connect it to another, and then I can drag around my ideas any way I want and Miro maintains the connections. Plus I can share with our stakeholders, get comments and feedback instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything, Miro is a perfect tool for sharing idea mapping and digital white boarding with your team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Today we are solving this issue of working remotely with teams across the globe. With Miro we can all see each other in one digital canvas, drop comments and post its on a canvas, just like in a digital meeting with an endless whiteboard!
