Visual Collaboration with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Miro for its sticky notes feature with different colors, which allows me to organize my thoughts and ideas in a visually appealing and easily accessible manner. The ability to create various labels by using different colors makes it much easier to identify problem areas and solutions on the board. For example, labeling orange for problems and green for solutions helps me and my team quickly focus on relevant issues without confusion. Miro’s virtual board feature brings a sense of nostalgia, reminding me of college days when we used physical boards and sticky notes to prepare presentations. This online board makes it easier to capture all our pain points and solutions, while also allowing us to add images and presentations effortlessly. I appreciate how Miro helps me understand my colleagues' pain points even when we aren't in constant communication, and it gives me enough time to come up with new ideas as a team. Transitioning from PPTs and Excel to Miro has centralized our workflow, helping us collect everything in one dashboard, which is notably efficient. Despite my initial unfamiliarity with Miro, I found it relatively easy to understand in just a few minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, using Miro was challenging due to the lack of training, which made it difficult to get started smoothly. Another issue was the small font size on the sticky notes, making it hard to ascertain if all information was captured without having to zoom in and check if the content fits within the note. This required guessing whether to use more sticky notes for a single problem, which was inconvenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to capture ideas and solutions on a board, understand colleagues' pain points even without daily connections, and organize everything in one dashboard, improving teamwork efficiency.

Really easy to use and versatile. You can use it for meetings to capture ideas, creating web page mock ups and everything else in between.

Nothing really. More options and features for the writing part would be great, but Miro focuses more design I suppose.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro makes it easy to visualize process maps not only for myself and my teams but also for external clients. It serves as an excellent tool for presenting information visually, which is crucial for explaining builds and projects effectively. The standout feature for me is its intuitive ease of use; I felt like an expert after spending just ten minutes with it. Its robust real-time collaboration capabilities are fantastic, allowing seamless workshopping and sharing of projects. I can confidently share projects with those unfamiliar with Miro, knowing they can add notes and edits effortlessly. The straightforward setup using available templates is another aspect I appreciate. These features collectively contribute to making Miro a reliable and efficient tool for my documentation and project visibility needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when I feel Miro is not intuitive, especially when it randomly snaps into the wrong objects. This issue, while not a major problem, can be frustrating during use.

Essential for Remote Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's functionality as a communication tool, which allows me to effectively convey ideas, workflows, and use it as a whiteboard in my role as a product manager. Its ease of use is particularly beneficial given the remote nature of my company, as it enables me to quickly pull it up and share my ideas with colleagues. I also value the capability to swiftly draw concepts, which helps align understanding with others in real-time. A standout feature that I enjoy is the 'sticky notes' along with the functionality to link them to each other. This feature significantly reduces the time required to create or edit workflows, making my processes more efficient. Furthermore, Miro's straightforward setup process facilitated a seamless integration into my workflow, contributing positively to my team's productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Miro could provide dynamic information from external sources. Additionally, integrating with Figma is a feature I feel is lacking, as it would streamline my workflow by allowing me to quickly pull in existing designs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for communicating ideas and workflows effectively, especially as a remote product manager, allowing quick drawing and alignment with the team. It reduces time to create or edit workflows, leveraging features like sticky notes and linking, enhancing team collaboration.
This is a good tool, especially as far as vectors go, however the exclusivity of this is frustrating
What do you like best about the product?
Its lightness is nice since Adobe normally makes my computer freeze, so this is nice. Its interface does not have useless stuff that I do not need to mess around with therefore I am able to create icons that will be intact.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of 2025 I still cannot open this on a pc or windows which is very silly. I was showing some files to a developer and I ended up exporting png's like a caveman because they could not open the original. I would also love to edit on my iPad while I am lounging on the couch but I can not do that either because they do not have an app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only thing I use it for are high fidelity screens while my laundry spins in the background. It produces a smaller file size than illustrator which is bloated. It just works for ui things and the art boards export clean most of the time.
