Great for Collaboration, Easy Setup, Needs Template Refinement

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly beneficial for wireframing, brainstorming, and outlining processes, providing a visually appealing way to organize and present ideas. I love how Miro makes collaboration easier for all participants, enhancing our teamwork and productivity. The customizable aspects of Miro are particularly impressive, allowing me to tailor the platform to fit specific project needs. I also appreciate the private mode feature, which adds a layer of confidentiality when required. The variety of templates available is highly useful, providing a solid starting point for diverse projects, even though there is room for improvement regarding their presentation. Furthermore, the initial setup of Miro was very easy, making it accessible for immediate use. Overall, these features together offer a comprehensive tool that effectively supports and enhances my work activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that there are too many templates in Miro, and they feel very aggressive as they seem to overflow. This abundance can be overwhelming, and I would appreciate more concise options. Additionally, I want more thumbnails and a better preview option. Currently, when I add a template, it can take over the whole screen, which is annoying and requires me to delete it if it’s not suitable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate collaboration, make wireframing easier, and organize processes nicely. It enhances customizability and offers useful templates, improving teamwork efficiency.

Effortless Visuals, With Undo Glitches

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for creating flowcharts and processes because it offers a good visual representation that is beneficial for communicating with stakeholders. The ability to create these processes very easily with Miro makes it incredibly valuable for my work. It enables me to put together the right documentation that stakeholders might require, ensuring that I can convey information effectively and efficiently. This simplicity and ease of use significantly enhance my ability to craft structured and comprehensive documentation that meets the varying requirements of different stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating that when using Miro to create a swim lane workflow, using the 'command z' (undo) feature sometimes messes up everything. This inconsistency makes it difficult to revert changes reliably. There are instances where some changes are reversible, but others are not, and this inconsistency in the undo functionality is problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for creating flowcharts and processes, providing a good visual representation for stakeholders and helping me assemble necessary documentation effortlessly.

Easy Collaboration, Some Limitations Offline

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I incredibly appreciate the ease of use of Miro. It is a very intuitive and user-friendly platform, which allows my team and me to work together effectively. The collaboration feature is particularly remarkable as it helps us add notes and track the actions of other collaborators in real-time. This level of interactivity and transparency greatly facilitates our group work. Moreover, the initial setup was very quick and simple, even for the entire team, which allowed for a smooth and uncomplicated start.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the web interface of Miro sometimes leads to a lack of responsiveness. A true standalone software version would be desirable to allow saving and accessing projects offline, even in read-only mode. This would be particularly useful for consulting resources without relying on an Internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize our ideas and facilitate collaboration on mood boards, schedules, and diagrams, while centralizing links and resources. It is intuitive and user-friendly, which makes collaboration effective by following the actions of others live.

Easy use and presentation strength with Miro

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like to use Miro to create flowcharts at work because the presentation is simple and appealing. It is the only app in this regard that is really easy to use, much better than PowerPoint. What I like most is the ease of use of Miro. The presentation features and the huge canvas are incredibly useful; you have enough space to freely develop your ideas, frame them, and then present them simply and elegantly. The initial setup was also straightforward, as I just had to register, and it went super fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many standard features are hidden behind a paywall. You can only use a few characters without premium, which limits usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to represent processes with flowcharts. It is easy to use and offers a nice design, especially for presentations. The large canvas makes it easy to create content and present it clearly.

Invaluable for Remote Collaboration and Design Thinking

  • November 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for online collaboration with my team, especially as a design thinking facilitator and agile coach. The visual board feature is incredibly valuable because it allows everyone to place and see ideas easily, which is crucial for team collaboration. Miro improves our ability to share ideas and provide immediate feedback even when we're not in the office. I find the user experience and fluidity of Miro superior, having used Mural before, and Miro's intuitiveness and design stand out more to me. I particularly like how the elements on the board react and the design that incorporates clear iconography, making it easier for even those unfamiliar with online tools to pick up. Miro is a well-designed product, and its intuitive nature makes it straightforward to use without needing lengthy initial training sessions. The icons intuitively explain their function, and when using features like Post-its, it feels responsive and natural. Miro seamlessly integrates with MS Teams, enhancing our workflow by allowing us to edit and interact with the Miro board without leaving the meeting window, thus improving our efficiency. The initial setup was easy, possibly aided by experienced users sharing their knowledge, allowing us to get up to speed quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that some functionalities aren't available in the free tier of Miro. Although I work for a large company, there's no specific budget allocated for online collaboration tools for my development team, so we're limited to using the free tier. This has restricted our access to potentially beneficial features like background music, a timer, or the ability to bring everyone to the facilitator screen. Additionally, I also feel that the selection of templates has not increased over time. It seems like the availability of new templates in Miro has been stagnant, and locating new or updated ones is difficult. Expanding the number of available templates and improving their searchability would greatly enhance the user experience for teams like ours who rely on readily accessible resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for online collaboration, allowing my team to connect and share ideas visually, even when working remotely. It enhances immediate feedback and provides an intuitive user experience, crucial for my role as a design thinking facilitator and agile coach.

Enhances Research Collaboration with Visual Clarity

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for its ability to consolidate all stimuli in one spot, which simplifies the process of sharing across stakeholders and enhances collaboration. The visual elements in Miro enhance the user experience, allowing my team to interact with project boards effectively during user testing interviews and analyses. Another feature I appreciate is the improved grouping and AI analysis, which has become significantly better, aiding in the organization and synthesis of complex data. Additionally, the setup process was easy and seamless, even though it was implemented a few years ago, implying the system's user-friendly nature and ease of adaptability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the shapes offered in Miro could be improved, as they currently don't meet all my needs effectively. Additionally, I wish there were more specific templates available to streamline certain tasks. The team organization features could also be enhanced to facilitate better collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to set up project boards for screen sharing during interviews, facilitating team collaboration in coding, and centralizing all stimuli for analysis. It offers enhanced stakeholder sharing and a visual approach, improving our research and user testing efficiency.

Flexible and Engaging Tool for Dynamic Team Collaboration

  • November 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of Miro to use it for whatever my team needs. Currently I use it for both weekly team meetings as well as a creative, interactive board for programs I run virtually. I enjoy the variation of features and ways for people to interact; especially with sticky notes, emojis, and arrows. It really helps make my meetings more dynamic and keeps folks engaged throughout our time together. I've also used it for brainstorming and especially thought mapping which I often do in the operations aspects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are bound to only a few use cases. In some cases the intergration of other apps into Miro is a bit buggy; particularly with embedding. I also wish mine didn't lag so often but that could be a hardware issue, something to keep in mind though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in non-profit, we are constantly on our toes, and processes are changing consistently. Miro helps my scrum meetings to ensure all our teams are on the same page and if process changed to another individual contributor its easy to show where that change is made. It benefits me to get my visual mind ideas across to fellow teammates who either need to see a visual map or to better explain what I am thinking and translate it to actionables.
