Visual Collaboration Made Effortless with Miro

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Visual Collaboration
Miro provides an infinite canvas that makes brainstorming, mapping, and planning highly visual and interactive. Teams can easily create diagrams, mind maps, and workflows.

Real-Time Collaboration
Multiple users can work on the same board simultaneously, with features like sticky notes, comments, and voting that make remote collaboration feel natural.

Integrations
It integrates seamlessly with tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace, which helps streamline workflows.

Templates
Miro offers a huge library of templates for everything from agile ceremonies to design sprints, which saves time and boosts productivity.

Ease of Use
Its intuitive interface makes it easy for both technical and non-technical users to get started quickly.

Flexibility
Whether you’re doing project planning, UX design, or strategy workshops, Miro adapts to different team needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance Issues on Large Boards
When boards become very complex with lots of elements, Miro can lag or slow down, especially on less powerful devices.

Pricing
The free plan is quite limited, and the paid tiers can feel expensive for small teams or individual users.

Steep Learning Curve for Advanced Features
While basic usage is easy, mastering advanced features like integrations or custom templates can take time.

Limited Offline Access
Miro is heavily cloud-based, so working offline is not well-supported.

Permissions Management
Some users find managing access rights and permissions for large teams a bit cumbersome.

Export Limitations
Exporting boards in high resolution or specific formats sometimes requires a paid plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote Collaboration Gaps
Traditional whiteboards are not effective for remote teams. Miro offers a shared digital workspace where everyone can contribute simultaneously, making collaboration much easier.

Fragmented Communication
Rather than dealing with scattered documents, emails, and chat threads, Miro brings brainstorming, planning, and design discussions together in a single visual platform, streamlining communication.

Difficulty in Visualizing Complex Ideas
Explaining complex workflows, processes, or strategies through text alone can be challenging. With Miro’s infinite canvas and templates, it becomes much simpler to visualize and organize these ideas clearly.

Lack of Engagement in Virtual Meetings
Miro’s interactive boards, sticky notes, and voting features help keep participants actively involved during workshops and planning sessions, increasing engagement.

Benefits for You (Insurance Claims Context)

Process Mapping & Workflow Design
Miro allows you to visually map out claims processes, spot bottlenecks, and find ways to improve efficiency.

Cross-Team Collaboration
Since claims often require input from multiple stakeholders such as adjusters, underwriters, and legal teams, Miro enables everyone to collaborate on a single board, reducing the need for endless email threads.

Training & Onboarding
Miro boards can be used for interactive training sessions, helping new team members learn claims handling procedures more effectively.

Project Planning
For projects like automation initiatives or compliance updates, Miro makes it easier to plan timelines and dependencies visually.

What do you like best about the product?
Three things: intuitive, flexible, and collaborative. I wanted a simple kanban tool to unite my small team in the various tasks we were assigned. Miro delivered this and more, and I was able to convert my teammates into frequent users as well. I love the visual nature of the software, l the many templates that can be used, and the infinite board format which means more and more things can be added as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a more flexible calendar tool that could sync with Google or Apple calendars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualization and tracking of tasks across multiple team members. Especially the feature to assign tasks to different team members. This allows clarity of tasks and provides synergy.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is incredibly easy to use. In a matter of minutes, you can create a design and start collaborating with your team. Additionally, it offers a wide variety of functionalities and templates that facilitate efficient collaboration, even when time is limited.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no specific complaints about the product. On some occasions, I have experienced performance issues, but overall its functioning is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is very useful for us during retrospective sessions, as it provides interactive boards where the whole team can share and discuss ideas. Intuitive Design, But Growing Complexity

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and intuitive design make it easy to prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not as straightforward as it used to be. The product now tries to cover too many features at once, which makes it feel overly complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an early-stage startup team, we rely on Miro mainly for our Prioritization sessions. In particular, we use it to visualize our backlog by arranging tasks on a 'Value vs. Complexity' matrix. Because our team is distributed, Miro enables us to work together in real time, dragging and dropping sticky notes as we discuss which features are 'Low Hanging Fruit' and which are 'Strategic Bets.' This collaborative approach helps us connect our product vision with the realities of engineering execution.

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for my college work, especially for discussing ideas and evaluating them. What I love most about Miro is the freedom of the board, which allows me to explore and organize my thoughts without restrictions. The tools provided are simple to use and easy to pick up on, which makes the process of getting accustomed to Miro straightforward and intuitive. These tools help me navigate through my academic tasks efficiently, making them invaluable for my college projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the text tool in Miro to be a bit 'funky,' which can be somewhat frustrating when I try to use it. Additionally, I initially faced an issue with the setup process as I wasn't receiving emails for the code, making it harder to get started smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to discuss and evaluate ideas for college work, which helps alleviate my anxiety about speaking. The board's freedom and simple tools enhance my productivity.

The Best Whiteboard for Technical Collaboration

  • December 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility of Miro's workspace, which makes it an exceptional tool for whiteboarding. Collaborative features such as the cursor, comments, and co-editing enhance the efficiency of teamwork. Miro's new AI feature is an interesting innovation that lays a good foundation for work, even though it still requires some manual adjustment, it saves me time. I also like Miro's well-thought-out ergonomics that facilitate rapid iterations. Moreover, Miro is easy to get started with, making it an obvious choice for UI and UX projects. Overall, Miro is one of the best whiteboarding tools I've used, with well-thought-out uses for design and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of usable template, lack of small "teams" features like those found on Ludi. A marketplace somewhat like N8N could be interesting (free, because if it's paid, not many would use it in a company, it's more for start-ups).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate discussions on complex topics, collaborate effectively, and structure my thoughts with flexibility. It offers excellent ergonomics and a quality whiteboard, making it an ideal tool for technical work environments.
