A game changer for e newly-remote development team
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to get the whole team to collaborate online.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a new guest joins a board they are prompted to join a team - this is not necessary for many of our users and can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving the team from office-based to fully remote, we lost the ability to whiteboard, which Miro has not only replaced but also enhanced.
Miro, new kid on the block. More creative, excellent ease-of-use and quick to learn! Good work!
What do you like best about the product?
Recently, I tried out the video and chat feature within Miro. No need to use a separate collaboration platform. Great! Next will try-out integration with MS Teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still trying to figure out the best way to work with temnplates and to big a workflow within a board. Maybe use separate board per workflow phase. Still need to watch all the video tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved: keep doing workshops more or less how i would do this face-to-face. Therefore project can continu to move forward. Still not at the same pace, but oke for now.
Intuitive productivity tool with mind-mapping, note-taking, white-boarding & collaborative features
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for both work (on the enterprise account set up by the organisation I'm working with — a team of 50+) & personal use (on the free account — individual). The features I rely on the most would be real-time collaboration for work & mind maps for taking notes.
I also like how I'm able to access Miro on multiple devices & its integrations with other apps like Notion, Invision, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Slack, Trello, Unsplash, Youtube, Vimeo, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of support for multiple accounts as I use separate accounts for work & personal use. There are workarounds to this such as using one account on the browser & the other account on the desktop app but it would be great to be able to log in to multiple accounts & once with the ability to switch between different accounts.
Another issue is for the free version, currently, the 3 last created boards are editable. It would be great if the 3 editable boards are the 3 last opened boards instead of the 3 last created boards as we would then be able to edit older boards as well while at the same time be limited to having 3 editable boards at any point of time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been working remotely, so do most of the team members I'm working with, so the real-time collaboration features such as the collaborative whiteboard & visual collaboration tools have been a huge help to communicate & streamline work processes with my team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An overall great productivity tool & works for both individuals & teams
Excellent tool for collaboration and for organising and synthesising thoughts and info
What do you like best about the product?
Like that most of the features I need are built in the tool (i.e. design and text formatting options, ability to add links and attachments, ability to vote, timer)
What do you dislike about the product?
When attaching images, Miro can improve on helping the user see immediately where the image is attached on the board or give the user the ability to select location to attach the images
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro during the Discovery stage (Understanding the problem) of the Design process. I also use it to collate and synthesize information and research findings and to organize my thoughts. I also use my Miro boards as my presentation tool when I'm explaining the problems and sharing insights to teammates and stakeholders. Miro is also very useful as a collaborative tool when my team and I are brainstorming or conducting retros.
Great tool for consulting
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy to use tools that I have found to be extremely helpful when consulting with clients particularly when working remotely. I haven't had a problem with clients ever not being able to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web version is brilliant , havent had any problems but I have found the Ipad version to not be as useful. Some of the problem are not miro's fault it is just hard to use it as effectively on an iPad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has helped me engage with clients when building out their technical requirements for custom digital solutions that I need to build out for them, it gives me a great space to work through everything and have it all on one board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the trial, you have nothing to lose.
Great enabler for online collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro enables our team to collaborate remotely by replicating our physical whiteboard. All our activities can be done and are even improved by the many features available in Miro. Templates are great, voting feature is key. It's really easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area of improvement could be in the organisation of boards, but that's also on us. I just feel because it's easy to create, and possible to have many, everyone in the team creates LOTS of boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're now able to run whiteboard sessions remotely.
The missing whiteboard when working remote
What do you like best about the product?
The missing whiteboard on steroids is solved by Miro.
The small features which make a huge difference - Timer with b/g music for example. The OOB templates.
Ease of use and intuitivity.

What do you dislike about the product?
Privacy - might be that I've missed it, but the capability to have a board set as private while creating it and not available to the whole team at all times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working remote and globally - the capability to share the same view and collaboarate
Great collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
The limitless canvas, use of templates for very different types of diagrams.
Being able (since a few months) to lock object completely for other editors.

What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding new users - in my case employees of clients - is rather difficult. You have to explain a lot and they are treated as new users of Miro, when they should be treated as my guests.
Billing clients is hard, on a consultants plan you have very little insight into what to bill which client.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating consensus, for instance in case of creating persona's for a client with 15 participants. Or working together with an offshore IT development team of 15 and sharing specs.
Collaboration that works
What do you like best about the product?
Miro breaks down a lot of barriers to engagement and helps get everyone in the team to participate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Putting in structured content isn't that easy. I try to use Miro as often as possible, but tables and "organized" things aren't that intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a large engineering team (11 ppl), and getting everyone to participate in video calls isn't that easy. With Miro we've found new ways to improve engagement and to make everyone feel like they have a communication channel that works for them.
The software that I was looking for!
What do you like best about the product?
The tool to clustering post-its, the different templates and the possibility so make remote workshops in a super-easy way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The clusterizer feature is great but it will be great also to be able to order post-its depending on the colour they have, or the possibility to order with the tag like clusterizer does but not in a spider map but the post-its ordered one besides another. Just to tell you something, actually, everything is cool for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am analyzing a lot of qualitative data in a super fast and sustainable way (I dont have to write every coment in paper post-its just to thow them away). I am doing a lot of remote workshops and interviews with it in a super collaborative way and I don't have to write everything down after because with this tool the user write it during the workshop or interview. It also allows me to visualize a lot of service blueprint and customer journeys in a super easy way.
