What do you dislike about the product?
The guest account for $3 a day
Still missing:
- a good tool for user journey mapping (we have used existing templates, but they are still not there)
- more icon styles

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need constant cross-collaboration and sharing consider well which type of license is best for your needs. Starting small is always possible, but thinking about scale and type of uses for bigger organizations is key to keep control of costs and improve accessibility for guests.
Miro is the virtual place of my real design
What do you like best about the product?
In a single platform, I can manage my agenda, ideas, structured projects, and planning. And for some time now, my presentations as well. Not having to jump from one specialized environment to another is comfortable.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don't like is that I can't move tabs of open boards, which I instinctively do to keep groups of related boards close together.
Another thing I'd improve is the tab entity: it is very useful as a structured container of information to move from one column to another in a table or kanban, but which I'd enhance with richer text management and more pronounced color markup, in any case, already useful as it is.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has dramatically reduced friction in managing my daily work of organizing and planning. In particular, I was able to develop an agenda system that is a hybrid of planner and kanban, a visual system that is particularly congenial to me.
Great Tool for UX Team!
What do you like best about the product?
Wireframe library is an excellent possibility for online Workshops. We are mainly using Miro for Ideation and sketching an Idea.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I can’t find the boards, which other companies share with us. As well I believe Uploading can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So, since we are all working from home, we realized how important it is to be connected and collaborate at the same time to get something done. Miro is not only good for workshops but also for organizing Teams and keep everything in one area. Very often, I had to go through all my files to find one I was look for to share with my team, now with Miro we just uploaded everything there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Introduce Miro to everyone, with who you are working every closely. And share insides, updates, ideas and even your current status with them you will see how beneficial it is to be transparent.
Miro is one of the best collaborative tool I tested in order to handle design project remotely
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface, voting functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface easy to use as I am a designer and I am used to these kinds of tools, but when working with customers it seems difficult for them to understand the main functionalities.
The onboarding is not clear for them.
Also, the sign-up process may be time-consuming when many participants need to be identified and change their name from "Guests" during a workshop

Also, the sign-up process may be time-consuming when many participants need to be identified and change their name from "Guests" during a workshop
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allowed my agency to manage all of our projects remotely, organize our internal work and our workshops with customers. It also allowed us to build our own personal toolkit that we use as personalized templates available for all the teams.
A seamless tool for real-time collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Aside from the basic functionality of the ever-expanding canvas, I'm most enticed that I can bring people together (physically), by the fusion of audio, video, chat, and physically bringing everyone to me when I'm the presenter/facilitator. AND we can do this all while staying in one tool. Miro eliminates the often-used and error-prone "screenshare on top of a phone/video chat" by providing one place for all the collaboration, and the flexibility of the options for board "artwork" is near limitless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major disadvantage is that it becomes difficult to manage teams and guests on the lower-tier accounts. I also want to be able to switch between business and personal boards (you know a tool is good when you bring it into personal life!) but it's cumbersome to log out/in to switch. So the limited access to structuring my organization of boards is a slight turn off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining multiple ways of presenting information (and adjusting it real-time) in combination with a group of people.
We use Miro for sharing individual ideas to receive feedback and for collective working sessions to generate a common strategy/understanding.
The major benefit is that Miro allows us to focus on the content of the work rather than getting hung up in the meta of how we work (which tool to use, technical issues, finding the link to someone's document, etc.)

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a few minutes to "play" around with all the features before diving in, and consider participating in one of their live (or recorded) demonstrations to understand the breadth of possibilities.
Fabulous limitless tool for creative co-working and workshops
What do you like best about the product?
Basically - it lets you do online things you only thought possible offline. The freedom to create the canvas with any type of content and freedom to structure as I find fit. Continuous improvement in how to interact and smart editing of multiple objects. The positive feedback from participants and users we invite into the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit complicated pricing system, anonymity for guests when working with clients, the repeted experience of moving things that shouldn't move. The connection lines that live its own life and create a complete mess of everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to organise interactive online workshops where everyone can be creative and work at the same time. When the corona-pandemic come, we had the problem of not being able to meet and work together physcially. With Miro we could move everything online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learning to use Miro is a process. Use it step by step, try new features and include others to work with you. Start with the free version and upgrade as needed. We managed with free version for a year, at least.
The best visual solution on the market
What do you like best about the product?
it is very easy to use and it syncs well. I've seen it evolve along time and would be really helpful to use my spotify playlist instead of the music.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upload Mural boards would be great as it would be beneficial when working with different companies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a visual person so it helps me show work and interact with my colleagues and clients
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a whiteboarding tool that can help you excel, especially with people in different locations, this is the tool to use.
Flexible and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to use it for so many things!
What do you dislike about the product?
I often find it hard to navigate around boards that have a lot of content. It can become laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are collaborating on new ideas as a team. We are also sharing and iterating on plans and ideas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the Miroverse and Miro templates. These are a great way to get inspired or to find ways to organise your board for your needs.
This is why I use MIRO. =)
What do you like best about the product?
It's pleasing to look at. You don't have to create an account to use it as a visitor. I love the bulk mode. The follow me option is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have difficulty with understading the percentages at the bottom. I'm never sure why it's a certain percentage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm working on developing activity programs. I also use it to map out my own research privately.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with the different functions and get to know it well before using it with clients.
Priceless for remote work
What do you like best about the product?
Super quick and easy to work together on all kinds of collaboration from initial ideas, through to detailed designs. Super smooth usability and helpful shortcut keys let us get stuff done. The shared templates are handy for indicating what can be done with the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few niggles on linking lines and selecting across multiple layers. Plus some shortcut keys differ from other standards I use which causes confusion. Font handling when zoomed in / out can be painful - eg, defaults to small size (8) but is actually large on the screen (have to create a group and scale it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solution creation for users, collaborating on ideas across the team. Having a shared digital workspace makes it easy to all stay in sync and come u with interesting directions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended. Well worth the time to get going and use across your teams.
