Easy to use shared space for design and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has a very clean, intuitive and straightforward design. We are able to easily attach external images and use the Miro toolbox to create and evolve our ideas. Aligning the various containers and components we add is easy as they align and lock into place with ease. Copying components and sketches from one board to another is painless!
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss the gird on the canvas and don't know how to re-enable it. It simply disappeared. Searching boards could be easier, the package we are on only allows for search by board name. While we are considering upgrading in any case for some additional features, it feels like the provided search feature at the level we are is pretty useless. It also feels a little resource-intense - having a number of Miro tabs open can grind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
System design, interface design. Simple illustrations and mind maps to dump out.
Seamless user experience, easy work conversation and easier collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can import my excel files and some other things like images and video, thus I can have all my needed files on one Miro board. Makes brainstorming easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't export a canva on a board as PDF. When I select a canva for export as PDF, the whole canva on that board is exported instead
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am conducting a user research for a project I am working on with my team, so Miro serves as a collaborative platform where my team and I analyse our research and brainstorm
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For easy collaboration and brainstorming, Miro is the platform especially for remote workers
Ultimate shared collaboration planning tool
What do you like best about the product?
it's a giant Pureref board that's online, can handle tons of images, works fast, great for writing down ideas and linking things with lines
its great for my line of work around art and videos. I even got my workplace to buy a bunch of accounts to use for my team

What do you dislike about the product?
it loses a point for not having darkmode built in. Being in this industry too long has made my eyes sensitive to bright screens, and the background for miro is glaring white.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
art is a fickle thing, words can't describe exactly what someone wants when working with a team of artists,
you need to show video, images, gifs, and Miro does all these, and if someone says make it pop, they can create a small collection with a frame called pop
so you actually understand what someone really wants, rather than guessing.
It's also great for shared scratch notes on shots or whatever that people can share with the team

Stay aligned with your remote team
What do you like best about the product?
Miro helps the remote team to preserve the valuable brainstorms that previously took place in real life.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design features of Miro could be a bit more similar to Figma or Sketch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us on solving complex problems which our users are facing with our SaaS application. Besides that, it's also a place to brainstorm about our team process and where we do exercises to teach each other new design research methods.
Great for distributed trams
What do you like best about the product?
Seeing where other are on the board. Also the templates save time and that's great (retro, simple table)
What do you dislike about the product?
People creat a cidental boards.

We are in 3 different locations. We can't do physical whiteboard.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remote working can be even more efficient than than co-working on a site. But to do that you have to get a set of tools. A virtual collaboration tool is a must and I recommend Miro
More than a great tool, I couldn't imagine not using now.
What do you like best about the product?
Integration across so many platforms, so many of my clients or teams are visual learners, so Miro is the best way to communicate for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much; small things like getting YT, Spotify, and other outside links to integrated used to be a problem but not now!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anything from meeting notes to program/project management to visualizing processes.
Easy to use. No account required to guest.
What do you like best about the product?
With Miro, we can brainstorm with web workshop guests. Guests are reluctant to create an account just for a one-time workshop, but Miro can be used without an account, making it very easy to recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text box is a little tricky to handle. It's probably not a problem for English text, but when I type Japanese text, the text size becomes very small.
In that case, you can add your own line breaks to make the font size match the size of the text box.
I think Miro was developed for languages with spaces between words, like English, so it cannot handle languages without spaces between words, like Japanese.

We are using Miro for online training for human resource development. In the past, we used to meet in real and brainstorm using Post-its.
After the COVID-19 disaster, it became difficult for us to meet in real, so our training is now mainly virtual.
Since we can do the same kind of work with sticky notes online, we can maintain the quality of the training.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro can use without login and without installing any application. In addition, Miro can be operated intuitively without explaining to the user how to handle it.
These advantages have lowered the hurdle for introducing virtual training.

One of the best for project collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy to drag and drop options on any board. I am using to working on the website design and the kanban board on workdays. With the unlimited space, We can have everything in a single mini-board. It easy to use and set up any new board. I like the support team of the miro, which is ready to help me quickly and make it easy to do business.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the unlimited space, We can have everything in a single mini-board which make it difficult to load the board on the web view, I am tired of the time spending on just loading the board to get started working. I have now switched to the web to the app's desktop version to work on my Windows systems. It has limited fonts to be used on the board. I need an option where we can import any fonts on the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to share with different teams. Easy for a non-technical person to use it. I see the scope of the project to be visible with a mindmap view. I am using it for redesigning the website. We have the design on the board for each different screen size and we work accordingly. It's very easy to edit and let others know the changes across the team.
MIro review-generally a pleasant experiance
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to work together, that makes miro a lot more helpful than other tools. I like having different folders so that I can keep all my thoughts organized when working on different projects.
I like making some of the items on my board really small it helps me visualize that steps are important and what steps need to be done but at a later date. it also helps me fit a whole project into one view so I know what I am missing to what things might become future bottle necks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when using miro and I am copying and pasting notes it is not user-friendly it gives me a hard time and one selects the right thing or I have to click too much to do a simple task.
one of the biggest issues I have with Miro is that the templates I make are only usable i miro, and it is hard to share them or turn them into PDF files so that I could add them to PowerPoint, or any other slide show presentation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we mostly use miro for road map templates and Pm planning. The templates are really the best thing about miro and they make it really easy to organize time and features. we were in a fintech hackathon and had never done a lean modal canvas before so we used the one from miro and it helped us organize our idea and create a product that actually won the hackathon.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is easy to use but hard to master.
Easy collaboration and onboarding everywhere
What do you like best about the product?
The tool it's incredibly easy to use and to learn. The main power is the quickness in explaining how the tools work and what can do also for the people who touch for the first time the board. Also, if you think that a guest (nonpaying user) can actually do many things like a regular registered user. This allows to invite new people as guest in the board to have all kind of experiences without having to spend too much money.
Another big upside of Miro is its community where one can find all kinds of nice template ready to be used and also all the answer/help for all kind of problems.
We have found it great for the agile retrospective and planning but also for all kinds of design thinking and brainstorming activity.
Obviously it's incredibly useful for non-collocated teams but also when people are inside the same room because you can have a digital environment where everyone can give his contribute and don't worry about the need to store the information in a digital way.
Also to underling is also the number of apps that are available inside the store and that offer all kind of native connection with other great and commonly used platform (e. Jira, Asana, excel ) but also aps to inherit great tools like voting session, poker planning, timers and many others.
When it comes to showing value releases through mockups or presentation Miro comes also in hand because it offers the possibility to have presentation session with chat and video streaming all in one place.

What do you dislike about the product?
Standard kanban template and cards are not the best (post-it are actually better to work with).
Pricing for enterprise teams is available only with a high number of users (100 or more in Europe, that is a little bit too much).
Jira connector doesn't allow to create sub-tasks.

Also if we have team members spread worldwide or at home for smart working we can have great collaboration sessions.
Miro is also helping us to create a digital environment where we can work on agile practices with people.
Moreover, by using a digital board, we can now share critical information across many people and have them all always aligned with the status of things.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for the paid plan if you want to have all the features and power of the tool. Lowest plan it's enough to have all practice and onboard your organization.
