Intuitive Whiteboard for Instruction
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is great and the incorporation of common hotkeys is really great to make live interaction fast paced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Main issue was that they consistently interrupted instruction with a survey, but I contacted tech support and they stopped that when asked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is our way of creating a dynamic live online teaching experience.
Great electronic board
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how I could use it during math lectures making it easier to show work on math problems during distance learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't dialike it, I didn't have any problems with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it easier for students to visually see and understand the steps to a math problem. Doing math is very difficult to teach via online since steps have to be shown.
After I started using Miro for most of my work responsibilities, things got a lot easier for me.
What do you like best about the product?
The comment part is my favorite part because if I'm going to prepare a presentation, I don't want long sentences in the presentation and I keep those articles in a comment.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a MacBook user, I am very used to using safari but miro does not work as well as google chrome in safari. I started using google chrome for miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I didn't have my computer with me, I had problems when there was an urgent work-related problem, but thanks to Miro's mobile application, I can update the tables I created anytime, anywhere.
Miro is Visio on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of using Miro are collaborating live on the virtual whiteboard to create a chart or diagram. I've used other programs, and real-time synchronous collaboration is not as they say it is. I like the fact that there are many templates of diagrams to choose from and a good set of training videos to help you along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is rather cluttered. For someone who has expert use in other collaborative software, initially, there is lots to figure out i.e., how to share the whiteboard, how to get help, what all the buttons and functions do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating storyboards for online learning collaboratively. Also, the opportunity to share ideas virtually with a geographically disparate team is useful synchrounously.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro has myriad ways of drawing charts and diagrams, and with that, you can collaborate with peers, so all the better.
Great tool for teams, consultants & enterprises
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using MIro for almost 4 years, first with a consultant profile. I was impressed by the ease of access for the external collaborators I invited to use Miro and the close to the non-existing on-boarding time needed.
The tool is equally suitable for wireframing, diagramming, brainstorming, and product discovery. My customers loved it.
2 years ago, the company I work for purchased Enterprise licenses after a comparison with Mural, LucidSpark and FigJam. The flexible licensing model of Miro is really good, and allows us to grow the usage on a pace that fits our budget and needs. After 2 years of usage, we are still happy about this product and especially happy about the constant user-centric development that always keeps the product fit for our needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
Miro offers everything that could be considered a must for virtual collaboration. Nevertheless, there are several areas of improvement that Miro team could work on to make their product even greater:
1. Jira Cards integration is done on a team level, not on Enterprise subscription level. We have 15+ teams in our enterprise subscription, meaning we need to do the integration 15 times.
2. Some competitors are more focused on Agile flow support & Jira integrations and offer Dynamic backlog management tools (LucidSpark and Stormboard), so it will be great if Miro focuses on this in the near future.

We use Miro in several directions:
1. Goal Setting (Objectives and Key Results), their set-up and tracking in a collaborative model;
2. Quarterly planning events and workshops;
3. Product discovery sessions.
4. Roadmap planning & Roadmap updates.
The main benefits we get from Miro are ease of communication, visualization of progress, transparency, and enhanced collaboration between teams.
The integration with Jira helps us automate part of the flow of planning, removing the need to transfer information from a whiteboard to the planning tool!

White boarding tool that you can access from anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
The significant upside of Miro is the ability to quickly onboard multiple team members and collaborate into its carefully designed digital whiteboard either from scratch or by simply selecting from hundreds of pre-built templates. Another benefit is that it has an inbuilt real-time video communication feature that aids in better team productivity. Additionally, it supports cross-platform, which means it is accessible from almost all internet devices and operating systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The primary issue that I faced while using Miro is that I cannot seamlessly download the designs, diagrams, and visuals into printable pdf format; instead, I need to capture a frame and partially download it all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While working from home, Miro has found to be an excellent visual-based team collaboration tool that keeps everyone on the same page, increases team efficiency, and produces better work outputs. This tool has been a fantastic way to create a proof of concept of any ideas or solutions.
Not bad! Great for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has made it really easy to have whiteboarding sessions with other remote coworkers when working through an issue
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the clicking around was a little more intuitive, ie having key strokes or automatically turning on the selector tool right from teh get go. I also wish shapes prompted you to lock them in place once youve finished moving them around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Project Management we need to do a lot of remote project discoveries, release planning and work estimation - miro has made that really easy
We feel like we are working in person
What do you like best about the product?
We are using Miro throughout our company, from brainstorming to project planning. It serves as a repository for all of our ideals, studies, and insights. The most significant upside is that it allows us to collaborate more creatively within a team and also enables us more easily access the work of proximity teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the downsides of Miro include its navigation part, which is not relatively straightforward and can be much more confusing for the new users; also, the screen needs to be zoomed in frequently to read specific texts and diagrams. Furthermore, it is pretty challenging to keep track of all the different boards we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in all, Miro has become a virtual whiteboard that lets our entire team jump into and collaborate, brainstorm, and work on ideas, concepts, and plans. We feel like we are working physically in person due to its remarkable real-time collaboration and communication facility.
Feature rich yet intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I rarely say "feature-rich" because it usually means bloated, but in this case I think you can get away with using the simple features and just skip the more advanced ones if you don't need them. There are not many constraints and allowing users to do do whatever, like just add post-its to a blank background without first creating a canvas is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit unfocused with all the features presented flat. Even though you know exactly which features are mostly used (probably post-its?) that icon is just one of many. In essense it's a lack of prioritization and focus, the same trap that editors like Photoshop falls into.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been using it to share and co-create ideas as well as presenting stuff. The hands on nature makes it easy for other people to just add text och group items and when presenting the non linear and not so polished nature of Miro makes it faster and more intuitive to present. Much like when using a whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test out the different templates to get an overview of what you can do in Miro, just clicking the icons in the toolbar doesn't tie the features together like the templates do.
Collaborate seamlessly even during the pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
The most delicate thing about Miro is that it allows your entire team members to collaborate effectively from anywhere. Furthermore, I enjoy the freedom and real-time user experience it provides, making it feel like we were doing this on a round table. It also ensures that the accomplishment is visible continuously and available to all the collaborators, regardless of location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro primarily focuses on better collaboration among the virtual team, so it has an inbuilt video chatting feature. However, it is quite limited in terms of the breadth of functionalities it provides, such as it does not have any option to record the session for later as a reference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro enables us to schedule, coordinate, decide things, share ideas, strategize, and do a lot more with ease. We finally have a planning tool that our entire team can use together while working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
