Versatile Tool with Export Ease, Minor Interface Issues

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly easy to use, especially when it comes to exporting what I’ve created as an image. This feature is crucial for me because I often need to showcase my work, whether to colleagues or to preserve it for future reference. The speed and convenience of quickly exporting and even just taking a snippet or downloading it is immensely beneficial. I also appreciate the ability to select multiple elements and resize them effectively, which ensures that arrows and connectors are reshaped but remain harmonious with the rest of the image. This functionality is significantly superior compared to other software, where similar tasks aren’t always accurately executed. Additionally, Miro’s intuitive interface offers me substantial creative freedom. The infinite canvas feature, allowing seamless navigation by moving left and right as needed, enhances my creativity and supports my brainstorming and idea structuring processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the performance of Miro can sometimes be sluggish, especially with dashboards that are filled with a lot of content. It takes longer to load, and moving around the dashboard can occasionally cause it to freeze. This can be somewhat annoying even though it's a minor issue for me overall. Additionally, I struggle with the interface for adjusting colors. The color pad is difficult to manage because a slight mouse movement can result in significant changes, making it hard for someone like me, who is not a trained designer, to fine-tune colors. It’s frustrating when I want to mix colors or adjust tones slightly, and I can’t achieve the desired effect easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create graphs, charts, and product mockups, enhancing my product and time management. It facilitates quick image export, which is beneficial for sharing with colleagues or incorporating into documents.

These features make Miro a great tool, and I am quite likely to recommend it to friends or colleagues.

Its simplicity stands out as a highly valued feature, enabling me to accurately create and manage diagrams without any complexity. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro for my team was very easy, which facilitated a smooth transition and quick adoption of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience issues with Miro crashing when searching for items, although I'm unsure if this has been resolved. Additionally, the inability to use ctrl + F to find text on arrows is limiting. Another problem is when trying to bring a group of components forward; it doesn't work as expected, requiring me to select each component individually to bring them forward one by one.

Real-Time Collaboration, Some Interface Challenges

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I greatly appreciate the ability to work simultaneously with other team members on Miro. Real-time collaboration is particularly useful for us, as it facilitates the clear transmission of ideas and reduces communication problems or misunderstandings among team members. The tools integrated into Miro are well-designed and perfectly suited to our needs. Moreover, the initial installation of Miro was very easy, which is a considerable advantage. In the end, I am very satisfied with Miro, to the point of recommending it very strongly to my colleagues or friends, with a probability of 9 to 10 on a recommendation scale.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface at the project level can be confusing. I sometimes get lost, especially when using another user's Miro. I don't really understand how private spaces work or why I have access to many other projects that I didn't really want to join but was invited to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to solve communication problems in my team, facilitating the clear transmission of ideas with its integrated tools. Real-time collaboration is also a major asset for our video game prototype project.

Intuitive, Collaborative, and Essential for Growth

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro serves as a vast digital whiteboard that allows me to keep all my ideas in one place, expressing my thoughts and organising them seamlessly. Its size and the ability to have everything on a single board are incredibly useful for mapping out complex processes such as customer journeys and departmental workflows. The Google Drive integration is invaluable, as it lets me access and edit all essential documents directly from Miro, streamlining my workflow. Additionally, the collaboration features are fantastic, enabling my team to contribute remotely and participate in strategy meetings, which facilitates real-time idea development and prioritisation. The fact that Miro is cloud-based and free for us adds to its appeal, ensuring easy access for everyone. I also find Miro's templates section inspiring, making it one of the most intuitive tools available—I believe it's a standout feature. Moreover, Miro is exceptionally intuitive, with almost no learning curve, making it straightforward to start using. In my view, Miro is much cleaner and simpler than other tools I've tried, like Notion, for ideation purposes, and it brilliantly translates the traditional usefulness of whiteboards into a digital format.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to know more use cases and see how others are using Miro. Having 3-4 examples very clearly illustrated and simple would be helpful, so I can take inspiration and start to build into my workflow. I honestly haven't seen anything like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to untangle complex thoughts, map processes, and ideate with my team. It integrates seamlessly with Google Drive, enabling centralised document management and collaborative strategy meetings.

Intuitive, Feature-Rich, and Community-Driven

  • November 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro makes tracking tasks so much easier with its intuitive and fluid method. Despite having many alternatives, Miro's fluidity stands out as exceptional. I appreciate that Miro comes equipped with almost everything needed from the beginning, and it has now become a comprehensive tool. The best part about Miro is how the team behind it listens to community feedback and implements requested features, which is incredible. I once suggested specific text formatting features for task cards, and to my amazement, Miro implemented them. This responsiveness to user feedback makes the tool valuable for my work. Miro feels like a simple whiteboard but is heavily geared with fantastic features and incredible collaboration capabilities with other tech. The initial setup was incredibly easy for my team. I use Miro alongside Adobe Express and Notion, which work well together. I am so satisfied with Miro that I even mentioned I would be content living with just Miro and a couple of design tools, indicating my high level of satisfaction. I also appreciate how it continues to grow without compromise on its original simplicity and ease of use. Furthermore, I am likely to recommend Miro to friends or colleagues; I would rate it a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the idea of Miro evolving into something entirely different from its current form. The potential shift from a simple whiteboard, despite its excellent and comprehensive features, concerns me as I appreciate its present functionality and integrations within the tech ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro helps us track tasks easily and its intuitive interface surpasses alternatives, with unique fluidity. The team's responsiveness to feedback enhances its value, exemplified by the quick implementation of text formatting features.
