Intuitive interface and seamless integration for creative brainstorming

  • November 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It makes brainstorming and visualizing ideas so easy. The user interface is very user-friendly and familiar, with features similar to those of MS Office. An added bonus is that I can integrate links from other popular apps into Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if we had similar functions in Miro or at least more than the basic functions of Excel, so that working with tables or grids becomes easier. The current functions do not really work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacement for PowerPoint, but with more integration options and more powerful visualization features

What do you like best about the product?
One of the features I appreciate most is the ability to collaborate with others, particularly the option to follow another person's screen as they move around the board. This makes working together much more seamless and interactive.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps us analyse our websites and apps, and allows us to be more creative with our presentations. Miro also supports planning and mapping work, or simply illustrating ideas visually in one shared board.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be overwhelming for some people who are not used to use the system. With the amount of tools and boards available - it sometimes us overwhelming. You cannot work offline with the boards. So working outside the office with your laptop could be a hassle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You need not to use different pages to build as you can view it one page altogether - so you can put all your ideas in one view.

Versatile Tool for Design Students, Beneficial with Pro Version

  • November 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Miro for its seamless facilitation of group projects, especially in layout exploration, documentation, picture arrangement, and diagrams. As a product design student, I find it invaluable every day for sharing my work collaboratively. The ability to copy and paste material from the web easily and arrange it creatively showcases my projects in a unique way. Miro enhances teamwork and offers an intuitive and simple platform for effective collaboration. The shapes and note functions are incredibly useful for displaying research neatly using arrows and squares, which is perfect for brainstorming and idea exploration. The sticky note function is a great tool for highlighting key words and quotes in my work. I also appreciate the flexibility of resizing elements to fit pages and the creative use of colors, notes, squares, and shapes to design appealing visual boards. Miro's initial setup was easy, and it has proved to be a good discovery as compared to other products like Canva, especially for teamwork. I highly recommend Miro for its ease of use and would rate it a 9, although I suggest using the pro version to unlock its full features for long-term use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the team/personal project interface challenging. Sometimes Miro locks me out of my projects or doesn't allow me to edit them, citing 'too many boards,' even when they belong to team members. This issue is especially pronounced when I didn't have full access. The interface could be clearer in distinguishing between my boards and team boards. Additionally, the frame functionality is difficult to use. The program glitches and prevents me from taking low-resolution frames for printing. It would be beneficial to have premade A3 frames in both landscape and portrait orientations. Lastly, there's a difficulty in translating work to real-life sizes, like A3 pages, which complicates my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to effectively arrange and share my work, simplifying teamwork and showcasing ideas creatively, which enhances collaboration and process documentation.
