It makes visualizing concepts incredibly straightforward and intuitive, which is essential when ideating, planning, and brainstorming. I also enjoy the ability to present ideas using frames, as it adds a professional touch to presentations and helps convey information clearly. Additionally, the customizable tables Miro offers are quite handy for better planning and organization. The initial setup of Miro was straightforward and easy, which made transitioning to the tool smooth and hassle-free.

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Miro enhances collaboration with teams that are spread across different locations, providing an innovative way to integrate visual elements into our discussions. The platform is particularly easy to use, making it accessible even for those who may not be technologically inclined. I also find the availability of numerous templates incredibly beneficial, as they streamline the process of getting started with various projects and ideas. This feature saves me time and increases efficiency in planning and executing tasks. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro was very easy, which relieved a lot of the stress typically associated with implementing new software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to start with Miro if I don't know exactly what I need, as the platform presents a blank canvas with a vast range of options. It requires me to browse through templates one by one if I'm unsure of where to begin, which can be time-consuming and overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro facilitates cross-team collaboration effectively, providing visual elements for discussions regardless of team location. Its easy-to-use interface with many templates aids in planning and collaboration.

Essential for Hybrid Teams, Needs More Features

  • November 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly helpful in a hybrid working environment as it connects online and offline participants seamlessly, making collaboration and teamwork much more effective. One of the standout features that I really enjoy is its ability to document everything in one place, which makes it easy to access and read up on all necessary information. Additionally, Miro's tools such as the voting tool, the timer, the 'bring everyone to me' feature, and live cursors significantly enhance collaborative efforts by making meetings and team activities interactive and engaging. Miro's integration capabilities with tools like Microsoft Teams, Figma, Sketch, and Confluence also add to its versatility, allowing smooth workflow across different platforms. Moreover, the initial setup of Miro was quite straightforward, and although exploring its tools and templates initially took some time, the ease of use and comprehensive features make it a great tool for my team and me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some tools within Miro to be limited in scope. It would be beneficial to have more variety, such as additional stickers, GIFs, arrows, fonts, and colors. I believe Miro could introduce more out-of-the-box features and include captioning to enhance creativity and usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to connect online and offline team members easily, ensuring all documentation is centralized. It enhances collaboration with tools like voting, live cursors, and timers. It was simple to set up and integrates well with Microsoft Teams and other software.

Helps Keep My Team In Sync Even Though We’re All Remote

  • November 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Miro for project kickoffs, brainstorming sessions and to map user flows with my product and design teams. What I really love most though is how relatively painless it seems to go from a messy idea collection to something we could actually show. Which makes it perfect for remote workshops as everyone can jump in, drop sticky notes and comment live without getting lost or requiring too much setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mentioned this to the support early on in the development process and she agreed that it would have been nice to find an easier way of organizing sections (instead I’d spend a lot of time cleaning up my board instead of focusing on brainstorming). And for coworkers not too accustomed to working with visual tools as there is a bit of a learning curve in how to start doing anything on the interface so I feel like I have to run through basics with others every now and then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps organize all of that into a way that everyone can understand. It’s slashed the endless back and forth of messaging and kept our remote team in lockstep without needing long sync calls. It’s just made the working together thing feel easier and less like work, basically.

Intuitive Design, Comprehensive Features Yet Needs Workflow Nesting

  • November 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Miro's user interface; it's far superior to other diagramming apps I've used, making it a pleasure to navigate and work with. The fact that many of our clients are already familiar with Miro is a huge plus, as it facilitates smoother collaboration. I appreciate the extensive customization options and the plethora of nodes available, which surpass those offered by competing apps. The record functionality in Miro is a standout feature for me; it allows me to delve deeper by adding additional text context, custom variables, and more to shapes, enabling a richer representation of processes that goes beyond just visually organizing workflow nodes. This flexibility in providing granular descriptions within Miro directly contributes to our efficiency in documenting complex business processes. Additionally, the ability to import diagrams from Lucidchart seamlessly and the overall easy setup process were crucial in our decision to switch to Miro. The transition was straightforward, even when things didn't translate perfectly, as redoing them manually within Miro was intuitive and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Miro could improve by providing more premade packs of shapes or logos specifically designed for documenting automated workflows. It would be helpful to have these drawing elements available, possibly sourcing from applications listed on platforms like integromat.com and make.com. Additionally, I would appreciate a more seamless workflow nesting capability in Miro. Currently, it's possible to link to another workflow via a hyperlink inside a note, but it lacks the fluidity and effectiveness of the nesting functionality provided by some other applications like ICE panel. This improvement would help manage complex workflows without overwhelming users, allowing different users, like administrative assistants and developers, to access the level of detail appropriate to their needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to document complex business processes visually, providing a more granular description with text and custom variables, reducing reliance on text-only methods.

The Ultimate Tool for Interactive Teaching

  • November 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its versatile use as a digital whiteboard, which has been integral in my role as a teacher for over three years. The ability to share boards with students makes lessons more accessible and facilitates both study and review, creating an engaging interactive board experience. I am particularly impressed with its feature allowing the creation and integration of diagrams with both pens and highlighters, whether using a tablet or a digital board. The clarity of the diagrams is outstanding, and the ability to integrate them with images and web links is invaluable, enabling me to create complete, rich lessons. The ease with which I can build diagrams on grammar topics, connect them with textual examples, include illustrative images, and add web links for further exploration is exceptional. Furthermore, I appreciate the smooth functionality of Miro compared to other products like Figma and Canva. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and obtaining the education profile required almost no effort. Lastly, the overall experience leaves me so satisfied that I would rate Miro a strong 9 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think a good addition might be the possibility of building boards with more pages (as a sort of stack), to be able to keep the boards of the same topic or of the same class together, and share only one link to give access to all of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to make lessons more accessible by sharing boards, integrating diagrams with images and links, and creating interactive lessons that facilitate study and review.

Infinite Sheet, But Improvable on Tablets

  • November 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the infinite canvas feature in Miro, which allows me to explore and develop ideas without spatial limitations, similar to a blank canvas. This feature is especially useful for capturing and organizing my ideas, as I often have many new ideas daily. The transition that Miro offers, from working on paper to a digital environment, has been significant for me. This has simplified my workflow, allowing me to move from scattered notes in notebooks to a unified platform where I can effectively visualize my proposals and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the adaptation of Miro's interface to different screens is not optimal, especially when I use it on a tablet. This becomes frustrating when trying to work in full screen along with the AI assistant and workflow generation, which makes it difficult to iterate ideas. Additionally, I think that the initial setup of Miro is not user-friendly for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to structure my ideas on an infinite canvas, facilitating the transition from concepts on paper to an efficient digital demonstration.

Flexible and Collaborative, Needs Better Export Quality

  • November 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Miro for the flexibility and great user experience it offers, making it an essential tool in my everyday work. The flexibility provides me with the freedom to use the tool across various functions such as product ideation, process mapping, brainstorming, and project management. Additionally, Miro significantly enhances team collaboration by serving as a single source of truth for different teams and individuals, enabling seamless online access from anywhere, which is crucial for our distributed teamwork. The user experience is also noteworthy and contributes to the ease with which I can navigate and utilize the platform. I find the templates particularly useful in my daily tasks, as they save time and streamline the process of setting up product-based projects. Furthermore, the comments feature is invaluable, facilitating effective communication and feedback within the team. Setting up Miro was incredibly easy, especially with my company's domain, which speaks volumes about its user-friendly design. Overall, Miro is a tool that I not just use but enjoy, contributing positively to my workflow and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the quality of PDF exports in Miro, especially when dealing with large canvases. It becomes problematic as I can't read the information clearly due to sizes appearing too small or pixelated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for product ideation, process mapping, and have one source of truth for team collaboration accessible online, boosting our efficiency.

Versatile Tool for Visual Collaboration, Needs More Free Board Options

  • November 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its extensive range of community templates, which provide a diverse selection to suit various project needs. These templates, along with the variety of features and preloaded frameworks, make Miro incredibly versatile and useful in streamlining ideas into visuals for easy comprehension. The preloaded frameworks are particularly valuable for facilitating comprehensive communication on a peer-to-peer level, as they can be seamlessly integrated into presentations or shared independently as diagrams. This ease of sharing enhances collaborative efforts greatly. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro was remarkably easy, allowing me to dive into using its features without any hassle. The combination of these elements makes Miro a powerful tool for conveying complex information efficiently and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that certain team features are locked because we don't have a premium subscription. This limitation can be frustrating, especially when I need to use team features that could enhance collaboration but are inaccessible without a premium plan. Another issue is that sharing can sometimes be difficult. The constraints of the basic subscription, especially the limitation of having only three boards, can hinder the independent sharing of ideas. It would be beneficial if the free version allowed at least five or six boards to facilitate better idea sharing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to translate scattered thoughts into visuals, making it easier to understand complex issues. Its templates and features aid peer communication and presentation sharing.
