Miro supports synergy for small teams
What do you like best about the product?
Three things: intuitive, flexible, and collaborative. I wanted a simple kanban tool to unite my small team in the various tasks we were assigned. Miro delivered this and more, and I was able to convert my teammates into frequent users as well. I love the visual nature of the software, l the many templates that can be used, and the infinite board format which means more and more things can be added as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a more flexible calendar tool that could sync with Google or Apple calendars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualization and tracking of tasks across multiple team members. Especially the feature to assign tasks to different team members. This allows clarity of tasks and provides synergy.

The Best Whiteboard for Technical Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the flexibility of Miro's workspace, which makes it an exceptional tool for whiteboarding. Collaborative features such as the cursor, comments, and co-editing enhance the efficiency of teamwork. Miro's new AI feature is an interesting innovation that lays a good foundation for work, even though it still requires some manual adjustment, it saves me time. I also like Miro's well-thought-out ergonomics that facilitate rapid iterations. Moreover, Miro is easy to get started with, making it an obvious choice for UI and UX projects. Overall, Miro is one of the best whiteboarding tools I've used, with well-thought-out uses for design and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of usable template, lack of small "teams" features like those found on Ludi. A marketplace somewhat like N8N could be interesting (free, because if it's paid, not many would use it in a company, it's more for start-ups).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to facilitate discussions on complex topics, collaborate effectively, and structure my thoughts with flexibility. It offers excellent ergonomics and a quality whiteboard, making it an ideal tool for technical work environments.

Simplicity and Amazing Design
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the simplicity and beautiful designs of Miro, which make using the tool a pleasant experience. The ability to drag and drop elements and then connect points is so simple that I love it. Also, when I move a shape, everything readjusts automatically, which is very convenient. The option to delve into layers is a feature I value, as it allows me to work with greater detail. I also appreciate the ability to make annotations and set up templates to avoid having to start from scratch each time. The initial setup was super easy, which allowed me to start quickly without complications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it difficult when an image is placed on top of all other shapes and there is no direct command that says 'send to back'. I have to send it backward little by little, and among so many shapes, it's hard to click on the shape I want to send to the back.

Improving remote retrospectives has highlighted usability issues while it has provided infinite collaborative space and faster feedback loops
What is our primary use case?
My current organization has been using
Miro Business - Enterprise for the last six-plus years.
Miro Business - Enterprise is basically helping us for the retrospectives and all the visibility over the tasks which our team members complete. Our organization follows Agile methodology, and in Agile, we need a continuous feedback loop. In the continuous feedback loop, we always look for proper sprints to see if the sprints are working or not. If we have something to achieve, we have to do retrospectives, and for that retrospective, we are using Miro Business - Enterprise. That is the main use case of why we are using Miro Business - Enterprise in our organization.
Miro Business - Enterprise helps us by giving us clear retrospective ideas, clear visibility over the dashboards, and we can brainstorm the ideas easily. That is the main major benefit which it is providing us. Apart from that, Miro Business - Enterprise also gives us the openness to check who is working on what, how, and since when we are facing this challenge. There is also a board where we can post anonymously, do anonymous polls, and see if someone is facing something. That is something which is helping us to create inspection and adaptation opportunities.
Miro Business - Enterprise is also a very good solution as our team is working remotely from all over the world; it is a very good solution for that as it is cloud-based. It supports real-time and asynchronous collaboration. Miro Business - Enterprise is especially handy when the team members are in different locations or time zones. Additionally, it is very secure for enterprise-level or mid-enterprise level organizations. It is a very good solution that offers security and follows GDPR and CCPA compliance and the administration.
What is most valuable?
If we are talking about the features of Miro Business - Enterprise, the best feature which I could remember is that it gives you the infinite whiteboard, which means a canvas without a fixed size or boundaries. We can do anything on this canvas. We can just zoom in, zoom out, create a big picture plan if we want, and this is something which I love personally. On top of that, multiple people can work together on the same canvas which is even better. So it is a canvas on which multiple people can work, which is amazing. It also provides visibility into who is using what. For example, if I have ten team members in my team and I have a single canvas on which we are working and doing brainstorming, it tells us that on this particular point, this person is working. That is again a game changer for our team. It gives us unlimited space to brainstorm, map ideas, and design some flow charts and workflows, and there is no need to split the work across different documents or whiteboards. That is something which stands out for me.
Miro Business - Enterprise stands out because wherever we are brainstorming ideas, whether we are a remote team or even if we are a normal team sitting in the office at our systems, we can brainstorm in two ways. If we are in the office, we can do it on the whiteboard we have in the office. But if we want to do it with remote teams or distributed teams, we need to have something which can provide a good amount of space without using a lot of things in place. So we don't have to go ahead with a lot of documents; we can just have a single board on that board, and we can do everything. That is the major point here why it stands out. This is the main point.
What needs improvement?
If we talk about the room for improvement, in my view, we have not faced significant problems. However, some users from our company have told us that there are issues with usability, such as problems while using the boards, zooming, scrolling issues, and occasional crashes. That is something which I would report here. I have not faced this personally, but I received feedback from the teams that while using Miro Business - Enterprise, there are instances where it has crashed during zooming in and out. That is feedback for them.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been in this IT sector for the last twenty-five plus years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Miro Business - Enterprise is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Miro Business - Enterprise scalability is really good; it can serve small organizations, mid-organizations, as well as enterprise-level organizations. The scalability part is really well-handled, accommodating any number of users, whether it is for ten, twenty, thirty, forty, or fifty members.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support for Miro Business - Enterprise has been performing really well. We spoke with the customer support team last week. We were facing a challenge while a program was executed, and there was an issue with the integration. The customer support team resolved our concern within thirty minutes straight, so I will give it a ten out of ten for customer service.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before Miro Business - Enterprise, we were not using any particular solution; we were using just normal Microsoft Excel for brainstorming and creating retrospectives, but that was not an effective idea. We switched to Miro Business - Enterprise after that.
How was the initial setup?
The initial deployment of Miro Business - Enterprise was quite easy because we are a big company with a lot of trained engineers and system architects. It was not difficult for us to identify the things, and it was easily done by the team itself.
What was our ROI?
Miro Business - Enterprise has helped our organization in multiple ways. First of all, it has improved faster collaboration and decision making, which we can see in the example I have given you of real-time collaboration on the infinite real board, which helps us cut the meeting time because teams align visually, and decisions happen faster since everyone can ideate and comment simultaneously. Apart from that, it has improved cross-functional alignment, and everyone is using the same board and same information. The silos between departments are broken down, leading to higher quality brainstorming innovation. We have seen productivity increase by thirty-four point five percent, and the time taken to brainstorm has been significantly reduced by seventy-seven percent. Earlier, our team used to brainstorm a lot, but the conclusions were fewer. After using this, the conclusions are much faster, and the time taken to complete the task has been reduced by seventy-seven percent. That is something which we have seen after using Miro Business - Enterprise.
There is no specific project which I must say has impacted us; it has worked very well at the organizational level. This has worked not just on one project, but it has impacted all the projects we handle. The ROI is really great, and I really appreciate the fact that they have helped us immensely, and we totally appreciate the solution they provide us.
Time has definitely been saved, and efficiency has increased. I previously shared the numbers, and aside from that, we achieved a good return on investment, which is what I want to emphasize.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with Miro Business - Enterprise's pricing, setup costs, and licensing was overall excellent. I will give it a ten out of ten because it was really easy for the setup to be done in our organization. Their systems are efficient and handle it well, and it integrated smoothly into our systems without any problems.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Miro Business - Enterprise, we evaluated some other options, such as Idea board and another one which I am not remembering the name. We considered a few, such as Idea boards, Miro Business - Enterprise, and myretrospective.com, and after that, we concluded that Miro Business - Enterprise is the best solution, which is why we chose this solution.
Great for teams working on cross-functional projects
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is perfect for collaboration across teams and different countries. For visual learners, this is easy to use and implement across your workflows. Templates also help with getting started. Multiple users can be in a board at once, which helps management see who/what/where.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working on large projects with many components, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Having the ability to navigate directly from a main project menu to various elements would make the process much more manageable. Figma is still needed for a larger design project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large, dispersed team and Miro helps everyone understand everything that goes into our projects. Outstanding items, items being worked on, and idea brain dumps can be found in one place.
