Its AI capabilities and mind mapping features are truly outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
The credit limit for image generation can be restrictive, and I have also noticed spelling mistakes in the AI-generated images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using mind maps during my PhD research has been very helpful, especially when I can share them with my supervisor at the same time. This approach makes it easier to organize my ideas and get more effective feedback, which improves the overall review process.
Perfect for Collaborative School Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Miro's extensive template system because it offers a wide variety of templates that help me stay organized and ensure that I don't get lost in the system. This feature is particularly useful for my school projects as it provides structure and supports project management efficiently. Additionally, I love that Miro allows me to add a plethora of pictures and GIFs, which significantly enhances the visual appeal of my work. The ability to incorporate these visual elements helps in creating a great overview, making my projects more engaging and easier to understand. Moreover, I find the initial setup of Miro to be very user-friendly. Starting with a blank page and having numerous template options at my disposal, accompanied by a helpful tutorial, makes it extremely easy to dive into Miro and start working on projects without any hassle.

Some functions in Miro are hard to find and tough to look up, which can be frustrating when trying to utilize its full potential. Additionally, I believe that the AI features in Miro could use improvement.

Effortless Collaboration and Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro has effectively replaced the need for extended Zoom meetings by consolidating all necessary discussion materials and tools in one accessible location. This makes it incredibly convenient to brainstorm ideas, create Kanban boards, and manage and assign tasks efficiently. Miro's interface is extremely intuitive, making it straightforward and simple to use, which has significantly streamlined our presentation process with clients, eliminating the need for repeated proposal submissions. The way it integrates features akin to those in Google Docs and Canva is a major plus, as it saves the time and hassle of toggling between multiple applications. I’m particularly fond of Miro's draw features, Kanban, and wireframing tools, which are easy and efficient, while the text features enhance communication clarity. This integration of multiple functionalities has made managing tasks and creating visually appealing layouts much easier. The aesthetic and functional appeal of having wireframes, Google Docs-like frames, and collaborative drawing tools all fused together in Miro is why we switched from Canva's 'Canva' feature to Miro, and it genuinely makes my work environment more productive and visually appealing. The initial setup was a breeze, as I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for simplicity. Overall, I find Miro's combination of tools and collaborative capabilities truly valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to have some integration with like Canva or Figma so you could design ad creatives right then and there. That would make my work more streamlined and easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro streamlines our task management and brainstorming, replacing long Zoom calls and centralizing our resources. It's easy to use for creating boards, wireframes, and documents, while also simplifying client presentations without needing repeated proposals.
AI-Driven Efficiency with a Smooth Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the AI feature in Miro which translates ideas into screens swiftly and efficiently. This feature stands out to me because it reduces the need for an entire UI team to create designs, offering significant convenience and efficiency in my workflow. It's particularly valuable when prototyping before moving onto Figma, making the initial phase of design much smoother and collaborative. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro was incredibly smooth, which contributed positively to my user experience. Overall, these aspects make Miro an invaluable tool in my design process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Miro charges for its AI feature, which I find adds an unnecessary cost to utilizing its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro's AI feature for quick and efficient prototyping, transforming ideas into screens without needing a full UI team.
This tool makes information sharing remarkably smooth and intuitive. Its interface allows anyone to start using it without confusion, which helps teams focus on the content rather than the mechanics of collaboration. Features are thoughtfully designed to reduce friction, support collective understanding, and improve the overall quality and speed of group work. Overall, it provides a reliable and user-friendly environment for effective communication and teamwork.
What do you like best about the product?
I especially appreciate how Miro allows me to paste materials and visualize information clearly. I first used it in the TCL program at Tama Art University, and it immediately changed how I work. This feature helps every team member understand information from the same perspective, making projects move forward more efficiently. It creates a shared view among people with different backgrounds, which makes discussions smoother and more productive. The setup was simple, so onboarding was quick and painless. It also works well for organizing my own thoughts using images, stamps, and illustrations. Miro has greatly improved information sharing, document review, and team discussions. In workshops, using digital sticky notes eliminates paper costs. And when creating reports, I can export text with AI and download it as CSV, which saves a significant amount of time. Overall, I rate Miro extremely highly for its clarity, efficiency, and practicality.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I appreciate Miro overall, I have encountered several issues that I hope will be improved. For users who are not yet comfortable with the tool, sticky notes or frames sometimes disappear unexpectedly, and it is not always clear how to undo changes. The sharing and access management system can also be confusing. Even after adjusting settings, some users could not log in, which caused significant difficulties during collaborative sessions. In addition, formatting text on sticky notes was not intuitive at first, and in some cases it was not possible at all. I would like this to be smoother and more reliable. The AI features also feel underdeveloped. It would be extremely helpful if users could simply request “Create a workshop outline” or “Set up a workspace” and have AI generate it. Another limitation is that the timer is not available in the free plan. On smartphones, users cannot input text easily, which led to complaints during workshops. The mobile UI/UX is noticeably weaker than the desktop experience. In Japan especially, many students do not have personal computers and rely primarily on smartphones, so improving mobile functionality is essential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to streamline project communication, share materials, and facilitate discussions by visualizing different perspectives so the entire team can align more easily. In workshops that use sticky notes, it helps reduce paper waste and lowers costs. When preparing reports, the AI-assisted text extraction and CSV download features save a significant amount of time. Miro is also helpful for organizing my own thoughts using illustrations, stamps, and images. As a project manager, I often need to gather and consolidate feedback from many participants. Miro allows me to collect a large number of opinions at once and organize them digitally, which is far more efficient than working with paper. Participants may need brief guidance at first, but once they get used to it, the tool becomes intuitive. I believe not only adults but also Japanese high school students should use Miro more, as it encourages clearer communication and collaborative thinking.
A Must-Have Tool for Coordinating Academic Projects
What do you like best about the product?
As a student working on highly collaborative software and cloud projects, I love how Miro makes remote teamwork feel natural. Whether it’s planning architectures, mapping threat models, organizing project tasks, or running peer discussions, the ease of real-time collaboration and visual clarity helps teams stay aligned and reduces back-and-forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the board gets crowded, navigation becomes less intuitive. It’s easy to lose context or misplace frames, especially when multiple teams collaborate. Better organization tools or smarter auto-grouping would make the experience smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes group work far more organized by replacing multiple scattered tools with a single collaborative board. Whether it’s mapping out architectures, designing workflows, or planning milestones, it gives the whole team one source of truth. This saves time, reduces confusion, and keeps everyone aligned, even when schedules or time zones differ.
Versatile Tool with Powerful Visual Feedback
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the versatility of Miro; its infinite board is a standout feature that allows for unlimited growth over time. The fact that Miro is so fast is impressive; it never has slow performance, unlike other tools I've tried. This ensures that the graphic pieces and user filter work smoothly, never feeling like the system becomes heavy or clumsy. This efficiency and speed have convinced me that it is the best tool for continuous work with my team. Additionally, its initial setup was extremely easy, which facilitated the integration of Miro into our workflow without considerable demand. This combination of expansive functionality, speed, and ease of use makes me continue to recommend Miro as the best tool for visual collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
To create slightly more technical diagrams, the tools offered by Miro are not enough, so we need to resort to other tools. This is an area where Miro falls short.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to get visual feedback for prioritization and decision-making, turning abstract ideas into something concrete. It is versatile, with an infinite board that grows over time, and it works quickly, which is essential for our product team.

Intuitive and Effortless Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly intuitive and easy to use, which is a significant advantage, especially when collaborating with more than 10 people on the board during cross-functional workshops. Its user-friendly nature makes it not only simple for me to learn in just a few minutes but also easy to teach others, even those who are unfamiliar with it, within less than 5 minutes. This efficiency is crucial for my workshops that involve substantial collaboration and require accommodating increasing numbers of participants seamlessly. Additionally, Miro operates smoothly without any glitches or interruptions, providing a stable platform for real-time collaboration. The initial setup was effortless, taking just about 5 minutes, which is highly convenient for quick initiation of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Access to Miro on client computers is a significant issue for me. Clients often face problems due to firewalls or because they are not set up like us to easily use Miro. Many clients have complained about not being able to access Miro for offline tasks and have to go through numerous obstacles to access it. This complexity in access reduces efficiency and creates frustration for both myself and the clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for real-time collaboration, organizing, and categorizing ideas easily during workshops, even with over 10 participants. It's intuitive and easy to teach, facilitating quick onboarding for new users, enhancing cross-functional cooperation effectively.
Effortless Prototyping with Superior AI
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro provides a great starting point for prototyping through its AI chat prompts. This feature saves me from struggling to get a project off the ground and makes the beginning stages seamless. The AI designing aspect of Miro works incredibly well, as the designs are very intuitive to edit, which naturally streamlines my workflow. This ease of use extends to the overall experience, which I find genuinely impressive. What adds to the seamless experience is the super easy setup — simply signing in is all I need to start, which is fantastic. I didn’t feel the need to integrate Miro with any other tools, as it stands well on its own, covering all my needs effectively. Finally, my positive experience was affirmed by my team's approval, as we found no reason to switch from Miro, and its overall usability certainly makes it likely for me to recommend it to others.
