*THE MOST* fluid and effective platform for human collaboration in the 21st Century!
What do you like best about the product?
When organising thoughts, strategies, opinions and ideas it's helpful to be able to throw everything into the same area so it can be sifted, themed, developed, threaded and finalised. Not only is this true for every digitally connected individual in the world, it is hyper true for any group trying to converge their divergent views and reflections to make wonderful new projects and activations. Collaborative groups spend more time misunderstanding, ignoring and overwriting each other to try and simplify their own minds, than exploring all the roots and tentacles to find new ways to do things. Miro provides the space to join magical human beings and expand their potential in a dynamic and continuously evolving manner. Nothing is ever perfect. Nothing is ever finished...and that's as it's supposed to be! Everything deserves a space, a time and understanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to be able to export my boards as explainer animations. Using AI summarising to write scripts - please can I have explainer vids as an export option? Thx.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing every contributor to dump their mind in an organised way for everyone to be able to appraise.
Miro is essential to my day to day work
What do you like best about the product?
As a Product designer at elearnio, Miro makes it easy for me to present my concepts to stakeholders. The feature I love most is flowcharts. They are minimalist and can be created ultra-quick! Miro improves my efficiency on a daily basis, and the clean and user-friendly interface makes it a pleasure to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit flimsy, from time to time I find it hard to align things and keep my boards neat as a designer, but it's not a UI design tool it's a tool for brainstorming, visualization, flowcharts, and many more, so I can deal with this minor shortcoming.

We are a small scrum team distributed in different countries and some of our most fun rituals are our retros! The background music option and the timers help us to keep it interesting and the incognito mode is useful to concentrate on our own sticky notes.
Other use cases for Miro are card sorting, user journey maps, and sitemaps. There are other tools around but as I said, we are small and don't want to pay many licenses for different software. Miro covers those use cases with ready-to-use templates and I love that. All in all, I love Miro and I am recommending it to every designer and startup because of its versatility and its ease of use.

Has all the tools you need for product and project management
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a product manager, and I use Miro frequently for stakeholder mapping, drafting product processes, facilitating workshops, and more. I love that it has many templates that make my life a lot easier. I have used templates for PI planning, user story mapping, stakeholder mapping, building matrices, and many more. But it also gives you the flexibility to build your board as you like. It has all the tools you might need to build a board for yourself or to get input from other people. It works great for facilitating workshops because it has private mode where people can add their thoughts without others seeing it and also a timer for timed breakout sessions, amongst other features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not much to dislike, but there are small things like there could be an easier way or a shortcut to add new post its, or a better way of selecting multiple items at the same time, etc. Permissions to edit are also sometimes a hassle and can delay the start of meetings and workshop. It should be easier to just share an editable board that anyone can edit without having to create an account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me a whiteboard where I can put my thoughts down and organize them a lot better than a text tool does. It also solves the problem of facilitating online workshops and gettin multiple people's input on a product.
A great collaborative tool our whole team uses
What do you like best about the product?
Super intuative for new users to get started in whiteboarding.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a small thing but would be nice to be able to upload a custom font when using the whiteboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've found it much faster to collaboate on wireframes with the wider team, on other platforms we had to buy seats for each person so that's really nice we don't have to
A great tool for our remote teams to work on everything from roadmaps to wireframes
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and features. The boards are straightforward to set up, with a ton of templates. The left menu makes it easy to find the tools you need. We run a lot of workshops, so the time management, recording and voting tools are invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissions and copying are sometimes difficult. You can't duplicate a board from inside the board itself. If I want to create a variant, I must go back to the home page.
The new update to permissions makes it more difficult to quickly invite others to edit, which is particularly annoying when running workshops.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows us to run expensive, in-person workshops remotely. This not only saves us money but also provides flexibility when we do want an in-person event, we can still include remote workers by running all our sessions through Miro. Using Miro also means we keep a record of our discussions, journey maps etc. Running whiteboard sessions in person often means the board is scrubbed at the end of the day, the post-its are lost and the photos we take still need to be saved and written up. Miro solves all these problems.
My Experience with Miro: Strengths, Weaknesses, and Overall Impact
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to have plenty of space for everyone to express themselves. We work as a team, and there's enough room for each of us to put our ideas separately before bringing everything together in a shared document.
Miro is fairly easy to use, people get the hang of it quickly and don't have much trouble figuring out how to participate at a basic level.

What do you dislike about the product?
When the files get too full, they tend to lag more and more, making it difficult to work on them. It would be great to easily transfer some of the elements to a new file, including the comments.
It is sometimes a bit painfull to share the rights to people participating to the canvas. We use miro daily but some of our colleague only join once in a while (once a month for example) so we cannot afford a license for each of them. It could be great to have "flying licenses" or a licenses that is shared within a team or to several people, idk.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us clearly define our clients' problems and how the competition solves (or fails to solve) these issues. Miro then helps us identify the reasons why we can solve the problem, brainstorm potential solutions, determine the KPIs that will help us measure our success, and finally, it's on Miro that we set up user story mapping and prioritize milestones in the roadmap.
Great for designers
What do you like best about the product?
I can share my work without uploading anything
What do you dislike about the product?
I work in fashion design and I think its too based for UX design, I'd love to be able to draw in a miro board.

Share ideas woth people outside organization
Miro – Great for Remote Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a game-changer for my team's collaboration. Its easy-to-use interface and real-time updates make brainstorming and project planning seamless. The variety of templates and integrations with tools like Slack and Jira save us a lot of time.
While larger boards can sometimes slow down, overall, Miro’s flexibility and powerful features make it a must-have for any remote team. Highly recommended!

What do you dislike about the product?
Dislikes about Miro's G Board could include occasional slowdowns on larger boards, limited offline functionality, and a bit of a steep learning curve for new users. Additionally, the mobile app lacks some features, and pricing can feel high for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of remote collaboration by providing a shared, real-time workspace for brainstorming, project management, and visual planning. It helps me organize ideas, collaborate seamlessly with my team, and streamline workflows, all in one place, boosting productivity and efficiency.
Incredibly visual and effective for real time collaborative projects
What do you like best about the product?
Miro was incredibly visual and easy to work with during our website development and UX/UI research processes. It really smoothed out our work across different project phases. I loved how team members from various departments and skill levels could easily jump in and start contributing. Creating flowcharts, sticky notes and adding real-time comments kept everyone aligned during reviews and helped us progress quickly through the website development process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Miro is generally easy to use, navigating large boards can be a bit of a hassle sometimes without knowing some shortcuts. I had to get used to shortcuts for essential functions like the hand tool to move around. While scrolling is easy, it would be great to have these tools more visible in the interface for quick access. Zooming into specific areas without multiple clicks would improve the experience. This is especially true when working on detailed sections to navigate quickly. Also remember only 3 boards will be active and editable at once in free version, however it was not a significant limitation for our project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helped us visualize and organize our entire project in one place, from UX/UI review, mapping users journey and web page planning and refinement. We were able to present the information and summary of our work to present it to stakeholders and teams and also collaborate at real time. We even used to map and analyzing feedback from surveys. When we had everything laid out visually, it provided our team with clear understanding of each phase. This really improved our workflow and made sure everyone was aligned and involved in the project.
