A must-use tool from brainstorming to planning

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is my go-to app for brainstorming, gathering research findings, preparing presentations, and planning ahead. I have been using Miro since it was called realtimeboard and across multiple companies, and it has always been the place where my team and I hang out, just like a playground. The collaborative features and flexibility make it an essential tool for team collaboration.

The best part about Miro is that any information, regardless of the type, can be added into Miro and be a part of "workflow".
What do you dislike about the product?
Now that Miro has so many features, it's become harder to navigate around and find the menu or feature I need. The interface can feel overwhelming with all the options available, which sometimes makes it difficult to quickly access specific tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me to put together all kinds of information in any type. I deal with images, texts, diagrams, wireframes, Jira tickets, Google sheets, websites, and all of these can easily be added into Miro and managed in a single place.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Miro significantly enhances collaboration by allowing simultaneous work on a platform or document without delays, making teamwork more efficient. I like that I can easily create models and shapes, and add sticky notes, which enhances my creative and presentation aspects. The ability to work collaboratively with my team on Miro is invaluable. I also love Miro's infinite zoom feature, which provides extensive space to work without the need for slides, making it easier to see everything on one screen. The ease of setup using my university credentials and the helpful tutorial provided when first using Miro further enhance my experience with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to connect or find the team because I have problems logging into my account. I can only access it via a link my teammates send me, which can be annoying as I have to ask them every time or search through the chat to find it.

Efficient and user-friendly, but watch out for unexpected costs.

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how using Miro makes team collaboration incredibly smooth. In particular, I'm grateful for the flexibility to output ideas in an unorganized state and then reorganize them later. I also find it important that I can share with large groups without experiencing much latency. Additionally, I enjoy the wide variety of sticky notes and shapes that are easy to use, and I appreciate being able to create a fun atmosphere using the stamp feature. By color-coding ideas and expressing them visually with shapes, the range of ideas expands, and I feel the value of using Miro even more strongly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When adding team members, I wasn't fully aware of how much the pricing would increase, and I ended up spending more than expected. It's worth being cautious when expanding your team. Additionally, there are sometimes issues with Japanese character conversion and line breaks. (Though I consider this a minor point.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate how Miro allows me to easily output unorganized ideas and then organize them later. It enables effective team collaboration and fosters a collaborative environment.

Collaborative, Intuitive, Room for Improvement

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Miro allows people to collaborate effectively by working in the same space and being able to see what colleagues are doing. This collaborative environment is extremely valuable when we share our ideas as it helps in managing and organizing images or text. Miro’s ability to handle creative brainstorming and visual planning tasks, like deciding which images or text should be in our tray during an idea-sharing explosion, greatly supports our conceptual stage work. Additionally, I find that using Miro for drawing lines continuously is a significant improvement compared to other tools like PowerPoint, making it a compelling reason why we switched to Miro. The initial setup of Miro was easy, which facilitated a seamless transition for our team. I also value how we can use Miro alongside other tools like Teams, enhancing our workflow. All these features make Miro indispensable and highly recommendable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find that Miro lacks sufficient workspace, which can be limiting during brainstorming sessions. Additionally, I wish it had a grid snapping feature to enhance the precision of organizing elements. Furthermore, I feel that the drawing features could be more robust to better meet my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for brainstorming in the conceptual stage, enjoying collaborative features that show colleagues' input in real-time and foster idea sharing, which helps manage content effectively.
