I really appreciate Miro's free plan as it provides immense value for my personal projects, such as organizing gaming events with friends, without incurring high costs. Compared to other similar platforms, which can be quite expensive and complicated, Miro stands out for being cost-effective and user-friendly. I find Miro to be incredibly effective for organizing and tracking important business information. The ease of access to information prevents it from getting lost, which is a significant benefit. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro is very straightforward, making it accessible even for new users. These features make Miro an indispensable tool for both personal and professional use.

Collaborative Powerhouse with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro extensively as a product designer for tasks like design, discovery, ideation, and product management, and I appreciate its ability to support all facets of my work until implementation. I love that Miro is a collaborative platform that is accessible for everyone on the team, even non-tech-savvy individuals, making it an excellent tool for bringing teams closer together. Its ease of use significantly supports our ideation process by allowing us to prototype and develop new ideas seamlessly. The ability to bring in different UI components and help align the team on the same page during brainstorming sessions is invaluable. I enjoy the pre-built templates and the option to create custom team templates, which have been incredibly helpful. Using Miro for user research is also beneficial as it allows me to organize research questions, record insights, and utilize its AI clustering tool effectively, which enhances productivity and decision-making. Additionally, Miro aids in roadmap activities with my team and ensures leadership is informed of progress. The straightforward initial setup process further adds to my satisfaction with Miro. Overall, I am a strong advocate for Miro and would rate it a nine out of ten in terms of recommending it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the prototyping tool in Miro to be not very user-friendly, and some components are not intuitive for my colleagues. It would be beneficial if I could add brand colors by default, as the current setup leads to confusion when components don't automatically adhere to the same color scheme. Additionally, heavy boards do not load progressively, posing issues when the internet is unstable. In recent months, I've noticed that updates to Miro's navigation system have increased the time it takes to load files, which is frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to enhance team collaboration, simplify prototyping, and bring diverse ideas together easily. It's accessible to everyone, helps in creating product roadmaps, and keeps the team aligned. The AI tool and templates facilitate user research and decision-making efficiently.

Collaborative and User-Friendly, Needs More Export Options
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's intuitive user interface, which facilitates ease of use and enhances my overall user experience. The ability to add icons and shapes for common platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP is incredibly useful, particularly for creating architecture diagrams and journey mapping. I also find the collaborative capabilities of Miro exceptional, allowing us to work seamlessly as a team, knowing who is working on what and where changes are happening. The export capabilities, although I wish there were more format options, currently offer value by helping us showcase things better. Moreover, I enjoy using the templates that Miro provides, as they are instrumental in streamlining my workflow. The transition from PowerPoint, draw.io, and Visio to Miro was straightforward due to its user-friendly nature, and starting with the free plan before moving to a paid one made the initial setup process fairly simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the current export capabilities in Miro limiting, as it allows exports only in jpg and pdf formats. Having the ability to export in more formats would be beneficial. Additionally, there is a need for more templates and design elements to enhance our workflow. Currently, Miro lacks integration with other tools that cater to my needs, which is a limitation for our workflow as we explore collaborative working options.
