SugarCRM CE - Powerful, but you gotta know what you're doing
What do you like best about the product?
We use SugarCRM CE companywide. From sales and marketing through product support and development.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not at all intuitive, you really need to know how to get under the hood to get the most from SugarCRM.
The separate modules (targets, leads, opportunities, contacts, and accounts) are independent so converting information from one level to the next is manual and often creates duplications of effort.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to properly set up our prospecting and sales funnel workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the functionality of the CRM platform in day to day situations. My team uses it on a daily basis and it allows us to collaborate with our front office partners in real time and provides all users with a singular place to store projects and information. The collaboration ability offered by this product has cut down on time spent trying to figure out a situation and allows team members on all sides to grab work and run with it to reduce any potential downtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email functionality built into the system has many flaws and can be very difficult to navigate for those who are accustomed to fully functional email platforms such as Outlook. The ability to modify HTML content is lacking and the email module could use an update to bring it up to par with other email platforms in its space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to communicate more effectively with our off-site partners and it allows multiple team members to share and pick up work. This functionality helps us to reduce downtime and to work more efficiently in all aspects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that email functionality is not a main need and everything should move smoothly.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use. The CRM itself is fairly bare bones and direct, or at least that's how we have it set up. It is very easy to use and fairly intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the browser being used it can be buggy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to keep track of our active client base. We keep touchbase notes inside as well as any relevant information that needs to be shared cross departments.

Being able to look at all the data in one place makes it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that I am trying to input data and it will refresh and clear everything I typed.

We were able to communicate with the sales team.

Limited track function. It's hard to control the emails in the application.

We use SugarCRM to manage the customer relationship, to track the lead generation, and follow up process.

It's a good option to think about on-prim setup..

I like the organization of all of my data in their platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the UX. It feels very uncomfortable and I am constantly having to do searches to locate things I need in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of contacts and leads. We really want a better solution for moving our net-new inquiries through the funnel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest a free trial and try other software too. This may be the solution you want, but looking around is always helpful
